Wouldn't that conflict if 3-0 Portland St. is playing 5-0 St. Marys? I think it would be easier to play the smaller number of games with waiting till teams are 0-4 or 4-0

Goalline do you suggest playing the 3-0 0-3 bets or are you going to stick to your system of waiting till they get to 4?

I see your reasoning, but from a money management perspective, I think I still have to disagree.  if we play out the numbers that I am finding - you would have been up units betting on the 3-0 team to cover - and when they do, you get to win 2 units on them by fading them.  Certainly you do lose a unit every loss at 3-0 as the streak is broken.

Doubling starting at 3-0 is very dicey - there are and WILL BE long streaks.  There were 29 streaks of 7 or more last year.  So far there have been 2 (though covers only has one due to them not recognizing a lined game).  There are more to come.  Avoiding them/cutting losses is key.  Of those 29, 16 were eight or longer.

Once they get to 8, it may be profitable to start betting them again (16-10)

I am still thinking...and thinking....and thinking.  We all want to win and it is great we are all putting our heads together.

By the way Osborne thank you for your clear and concise work, it is very helpful and I appreciate your efforts as I am sure others do as well.

Guys there has been only 9 teams that have exceeded the #4 W/L streaks of all 280 teams,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,If you renove the teams that got to # 5 there were 5,,so after #5 there have only been 4 teams,,,,,,,N Mexico at #7,Longest,,,,0-6 Elon and San fran w ML, and 6-0 Sac St who finally lost,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

 So you must understand SYSTEM has great POTENTIAL as these teams  move foreward

It all depends on how you want to play it/size of bankroll/unit etc. 

I played ON portland st to cover again and against St Mary's who is due to NOT cover.

I played ON Minn - both from a capping and a continue the 3-0 streak.

I played ON La Lafayette, fading So Miss.

Funny thing is were all looking at W and L streaks and i can't believe the # of teams that swap 0-1 and 1-0's,,and 2-0 ,,0-2's on a day

We all are not looking at the bigger picture yes some teams will move on to the #5 slot 9 have so far out of all others but understand all the others that reached #4 and failed you won on

Jones to me the 0-3 and 3-0's are leans and if played i play them as 1/2 units and then also pick and choose,,,,,,

Bandos, I see what you're saying.  And it is all about money management.  I bet .001% of my bank roll on 3-0 and 0-3 games, and basically only bet 2% of my bankroll when it reaches 6-0 and 0-6. 

Bet a 3-0 to go 4-0. If they make 4-0, fade them, and keep the first unit. If they lose and go 0-1, wait till (if) they reach 0-4 and bet your [B] bet, 2 units??????????  (Have to make a note on prior one unit 3-0 losses)

What's up boys.  Yes the NHL system that everyone is referring to is DIFFERENT than the streak one that I do.  So make sure you are looking at the right one before you leap.  I think they are up between 20-30 units on the year.  My NHL system has only been running since 11/25 and is up just over 10 units.  So choose your poison.

Here are the NBA streak picks for tonight...You will notice Chigaco is not on there even though they are on about 100 in a row not covering...

They were moved to my Labouchere system to avoid betting 1000 freaking units on a game.

I keep forgetting that we start new threads.  I think I need to post the past streak numbers on my profile page so that everyone can reference them.  I will do that once the 2006-2008 numbers are done.

Criminy - thanks for making me do that again - I know it is productive this year, and thought it was productive  in years past but IT IS NOT. 

Avoiding 3-0 all together is certainly the smart thing to do.

Teams that reached 0-3

I must have just transposed it in my mind.  betting 0-3 teams this year would lead to a 20-23 mark.  Historically it would lead to a 223-255.  Better to think that they might continue to 0-4 instead.

Conclusion:  3-0 and 0-3 are not good indicators. 

The good news is once you rake playing this system for a few more years the bankroll will be big enough to back up to the 3-0, 0-3 games if you want.  Basically you would have to chase for one more game on all of those....which means eventually it would lead to another 506 units won in those years.

FYI I did this for a few years starting from game 1...meaning I basically bet on every team - every game...I can get into it more sometime but it was sweet.  Unfortunately not productive unless you have a huge bankroll.  Losing 10 straight starting from game 1 gets up there in a hurry....5,10,20,40,80,160,320,640,1280 and 2560 (plus juice)....seems weird to be betting 2560 to win back your 5 but it happens. (I did have a positive year in the NBA one year doing it.  played from 1-8 and ended up winning about $3K for the season.)  That was the only positive year.

Guys i do not see the reason to play streaks less than #4,,if you on a slow day want to mess with them so be it,,,,,

The first is there are too many games that can come to that,,For me team must get to #4 this reduces the # of plays and allows you to keep your bankroll for latter plays,,,,With only 9 teams out of 280 i think is great ODDS exceeding #4,,and i'll push it to -5  or +5  as then its only 4 teams so far this season  out of 280 and i know those #'s are correct as i'm counting them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

i'm having a little bit of trouble following this system.  what is its success rate??  what exactly is being done to pick these sites and totals?

Goalline no Florida St for you?  I've got Georgia St on a 4 games cover streak...it's a little shaky though because there are some games in there where there was no line because they were playing 4 homeless guys and a rabbi in a pickup game.  Good Luck tonight!!

Lund ,,,,,,,,,,,it is a streak breaker system but the streak ATS must get to #4,,,,,minus or plus you play the -4 to win and the +4 to lose,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,thats it as teams move higher the chance to continue reduces drastically this year so far,,so you continue your same wager if they go higher ,,but double to get whole
