Very little travels for the Jags to St. Pete in comparison to what the Chips had to deal with. A whole new program in Mt. Pleasnt, MI too. From the head coach down, things are young at CMU. Brought in a DII coach, with some DII and NAIA guys coming in. Very young, very inexperienced, and that won't bode well vs a Jags team that is still feeling pissed off getting snubbed out of the NIT last year.
Much more to come

Some luck went my way last night. No complaints.
1* South Alabama Jaguars -6.5

The regime change at WVU brings a totally new feel to the Backyard Brawl. WVU now plays brawl like defense, and Coach Capel has talked about Pitts focus this year is being more physical on the defensive end. No one has gotten over 66 vs Pitt. No one has gotten over 65 vs WVU. This game should be the rock fight, of all rock fights. I don't have this one getting to 130. This would be a real fun game to attend.
2* Cornell Big Red -4.5
This Cornell team is too good to fall to 0-3, especially against a defense like Lafayettes. There is no way sugar coat the numbers, they are what they are. Giving up well over 80 ppg, getting killed on the boards, and zero depth. Cornells offense needs to get going, but they will, and this is a great spot to do so. The 3s will get chucked, and as long as they go in at the average rate or better, Cornell should win by double digits. Hungry team that needs a win. Lafayette does play WVU next.
4* Purdue/Alabama Over 173.5
Should be an awesome game, with limited defense. Purdue gave up 77 to Oakland who then only scored 44 against Houston. But they can score with anyone. Bama was impressive vs St. Johns, but still leave a little to be desired. They didn't shoot it great from 3, and still scored 103 points. I think this one comes close to 200.
1* Wichita State Schockers -5.5
It appears that Loyola basketball may have died with that nun. They beat Cleveland St @ home on a buzzer beater, then lost to Mercyhurst @ home, and then North Texas. This isn't a good basketball team. Now they hit the road for the first time, to face a Shockers team that has dismissed both of their bye games. They do have a big one vs Boise on deck, but being at home, and Loyola being the train wreck they are, I have faith they can win by double digits.
GL Today everyone!
