Finally home after an exhausting trip...

Stetson -1 (at Lipscomb U in Nashville, Tenn): Conference tourney action begins today with a pair of play-in games in the A-Sun. Think Stetson Hatters get this done against a banged-up Central Arkansas Bears team. Stetson won the only regular season meeting 75-65 at home Jan. 9. Bears are without leading scorer Layne Taylor who is out for the season with a torn labrum and a host of others have been out of the lineup along the way. Both teams coming in predictably struggling given their 9th and 10th place standings in the 12-team league. Stetson has lost 9 of 10 and CA lost 3 of 4. Not exactly thrilling stuff but I do see some value here on Jacob de Grom's alma mater with the very short line. Winner gets the right to stay in Nashville to get obliterated by Lipscomb in the quarter-finals ... 1.5 units.

One thing I didn't consider when capping this game is that C. Arkansas played at Lipscomb this week to end the regular season. Hopefully it doesn't come back to bite me. But thought I'd point that out for those who might be looking at tailing this play ...

Memphis +1: Love the way the Tigers matchup with UAB, even on the road. Tigers are still the class of this conference. 1 unit.

Stetson just could never really get control of the game. Finish the day 1-1 but down 0.5 units.
