bucci - thx for the post - i hate to say this but its unlikely going to happen - i have a 5k bet with the pimpdaddy after this and then im most likely retiring from taking on posters - it just is a lose-lose proposition for me - im supposed to win and if i lose these guys are all over me calling me out etc. my advice to you is post your picks and write good anaylsis - like helmut and others you will get noticed - when you do i will be happy to take you on. Please understand the situation I am in. With that said - pimp and i will be dueling in the forums for 100 straight days - you are more than welcome to submit your plays along side us.

But be honest guys....its alot less stressful to lose strangers money than it is your own.

Think about your question man....that is like saying, you are a doctor and you have made millions of dollars in your lifetime, arent you satisfied, why do you need to gamble?  point is, everyone who has money wants more, it never ends my friend!

well put klown - plus seriously - why wouldnt we sell picks if given the chance - we never started selling - we both started out like you guys in posting forums and then got opportunities - plus if you read a post of mine a while back on this thread i explain how much money one actually needs to bet for a living - youd be suprised.

The only thing I would like to know is where these guys are getting the lines they are using for their picks in this tournament.

Each and every day, the line they wind up using is the best possible number based on their selection.

Take, for instance, Teddy's pick tonight on the Cleveland/Houston game where he went under 186.

If you look at the line history you'll see that the line only touched 186 for a split second and only at a couple of selected books.

At the start of the tournament, my plan was to bet on all of their selections as they have great reputations. The problem was EVERY SINGLE TIME I went to place a wager on their selections, I had to buy anywhere from 1/2 to 2 full points to get the line they selected. Since I had no desire to lay as high as -150 to bet on their picks, I decided to pass.

I have accounts at 6 different sportsbooks so its not a matter of not being able to shop for the best number available.

Between the 2, Teddy is far more guilty of using questionable numbers for his picks.

I wonder if they do the same thing concerning the picks they sell which might explain their 60% win rates?

Teddy/Prez, please list the site you use along with the time when coming up with the spreads you select. Since you always get the possible number, I want to open up an account at that site.

    Thanks.

Intresting why is this a lose lose prez actually I think you would get alot more credit in alot of peoples eyes to beat someone who does not have to sell picks for a living and doing very well.  Just my opinion though   Hope you have been tailing as well

bucci - thx for the post - i hate to say this but its unlikely going to happen - i have a 5k bet with the pimpdaddy after this and then im most likely retiring from taking on posters - it just is a lose-lose proposition for me - im supposed to win and if i lose these guys are all over me calling me out etc. my advice to you is post your picks and write good anaylsis - like helmut and others you will get noticed - when you do i will be happy to take you on. Please understand the situation I am in. With that said - pimp and i will be dueling in the forums for 100 straight days - you are more than welcome to submit your plays along side us.

Intresting why is this a lose lose prez actually I think you would get alot more credit in alot of peoples eyes to beat someone who does not have to sell picks for a living and doing very well.  Just my opinion though   Hope you have been tailing as well

i agree with Prez as far as not much to gain by being challenged by everyone in the forum, lol.

As for their lines played, yeah they take advantage a little on that, they seem to always 'know' the ceiling or floor....  the only thing i'll say and its not a defense for him is that Teddy does live in Vegas and their line system is different from the online market most of the time, but i agree that the lines they post day in day out are suspect.

Why would Prez or any other tout have to prove himself to forum posters. If posters who want to challenge are so good they wouldn't even have time to look at Prez' picks because they would be killing the books themselves. If you want the top attitude in here it is Kindergartencapper who isn't in love with himself and just delivers. Leave the testosterone and egos at the door.

    Thanks.

There is no nonsense with the pointspreads -- we have very strict parameters.  We use one sportsbook and one sportsbook only: Bookmaker dot com, the radio show's sponsor.  We use the line at the time that we begin taping the show every single day: 9:45 AM Pacific Time/12:45 PM Eastern Time.  There is no fudging. There is no BS.  There is no manipulating numbers.  It's as straightforward as it gets.

That being said, I've lived in Vegas betting sports full time for the last eleven years and I generally -- not always, but generally -- have a pretty good idea of which way the line is going to move.  I ABSOLUTELY use line value as a determining factor of which game I am going to use out of my daily card.  So far, so good.

I hope this answers your query.  Best of luck tonight and in the future.

ilovekim - you need to email service@coversexperts.com - they will take care of you - sorry for that friggen disaster week 2 weeks ago - it trully was the worst 9 days of my betting life - but we are well past that now.

Andy great post - on the picks we sell - we get a pull down window when we post our plays that pulls the lines in from 10 or so books - we get to pick from that - so we are actually putting the plays in using the exact lines at the time as it if was a bet. With that said I hope you have been betting our plays regardless as we are kicking but (especially Teddy) right now and hope to continue.

Teddy - nice of you to show up in here once in a while - lol.

Yeah...try winning.  Then you won't get bashed.  You are only getting bashed, because, )if you remember, I predicted this would happen) you are doing terribly.  I feel sorry for anyone dumb enough to play, or especailly PAY you for these losing picks.  I am still surprised you were not smart enough NOT to do this

BTW.  NOT a hater.  Not calling you names, cursing at you, telling lies about you, etc, etc.  Just call them as I see them.  You may be able to fool some folks talking around this losing streak you have been doing by throwing "hater" labels against those who call you out, and not directly answering questions because to quote you; " im not going to get into a response about this as it will only fuel haters".   But you can't fool me, and serveral here.  Guess you will always find some suckers...just the way the world is.  But, how do you look at yourself in the mirror each morning?  God bless, and GL to you.

And lastly god bless sir and GL to you

Cashman - my bad - its in the other thread - the nba thread at the top - but ill talk about it again on the radio show monday.

And lastly god bless sir and GL to you
