At what point did the sport of basketball become a 3 point shooting contest? Is it because this generation of men is afraid of contact? Basketball is almost unwatchable in recent years. 3 point attempts has absolutely SKY ROCKETED. Why do these guys even workout if all they do is shoot threes?

 It’s the nba. They wanna make sure if these kids make it to the pro level that they are ready to gun.

the sport has now become live by the 3 die by the 3. It’s quite frustrating honestly because a strong inside game and defense can put you right in the game. But teams find it easier to come by when down big by chucking up a bunch of 3s.

Yeah it’s just not enjoyable to watch anymore. Whoever started this trend ruined the game. 

College has always been huge with the 3 because of the short distance of it

NBA however is another story

It’s all about skill and entertainment now. Most people enjoy the fast pace and higher scoring so it makes more money way now than ever. There is no place in the game for giant stiffs anymore

math. layups and 3s. medium range and long range twos are not worth it.
