Duke Fh-Gm and Why

-14  Duke

       Cal  

 

Duke opens as 14 pt fav currently 14 (madduxsports.com)    .    Duke has a strong ken pom rating, as well as a strong sched strength.   Cal's not good compared to Duke.

Both teams have a Positive to assist ratio - good sign for a basketball team.    When you look at shooting percentage def duke is slightly better.    What's it all mean - nothing until you compare this type of scenario to prev games with similar opening lines.    When I do that  - there was a game when Duke (happened to be Duke) played ND - when Duke was number 1 in the country at the time and crsd the fh and the game.   Thus my money is on Duke for both tonight.
