Winnipeg is the toughest barn in the league to play in.  Olivera is better than Rankin in my opinion.  Zach is a more valuable stud than Fajardo but Fajardo is dependable.  

So why am I taking Edmonton +3 @1.95     Reason being....  you have an old Rooster (Zach) in the hen house and you introduce another Rooster??  I think Zach grips the ball a little tighter and if playnow had an interception option for Zach, I would take it.  Ottawa got rid of Dru to keep peace in the quarterback room and peace on the team.  Why does Winnipeg think adding Dru now helps them and not create division???  IDK nor do I give a rats ass.  I just want my Elks to cover tonight and even get that 3rd win.

Was leaning: 1/2 unit on Demsky over 54.5 yards @ 1.83  Why, you ask?  Because I have always been a big fan of his and he has won me lots of money in the past.  But, Winnipeg has a lot of capable receivers.  White is becoming really special but at  62.5, I am not taking him either.

Playnow is the worst book ever!!!!

I was thinking about hedging.   Edmonton got a few breaks like 2 missed field goals and other flubs.  Winnipeg ended the half with a TD and momentum.  However, listening to Cody Fajardo, I loved the chemistry within Edmonton.  Cody isn't an inflated ego and diverted attention to Rankins  (probably because he left points on the table in the redzone).  Anyways, I like the Elk vibe even though we usually get 2 totally different looking teams after half time. 

Still think Winnipeg is mentally affected by the trade....

Playnow is giving me +3.5 for the second half so I am taking it.  Hopefully, Edmonton starts the 3rd running and killing the clock and ending the drive with points.  TD preferably.

Took Argos +3.5 @1.9 for 1 unit.   I did so because of Rider injuries.  I placed this morning but after thinking about it throughout the day, I don't like it Kelly is a bum who is going to throw 2+ pick tonight.  Argos are prima-donnas who take stupid penalties.  Riders on the other hand is a real team and play as a team.  I would have cancelled bet but it is too late now.  

Forced to root for a team and a QB that I despise.  Oh great, how fun will this be?

I had a hard time rooting for VA and the Stampeders but it is nice he finally made me some money.  I had a hard time even following the game and resorted to harassing others.  I guess being sick wears on a guy's goodwill.   I really need to do better. 

Tomorrows game is going to be hard to cap.  I'll have to sleep on it and put all the different tangibles together to come up with some sort of workable picture.  Off the cuff, one would think the Als would kick the living shit out of Ottawa.....  that is my lean but, I will have to sleep on it and figure it out tomorrow.

I parlayed with boxing and baseball and soccer earlier.   I just checked due to a boxing result and see the odds are -10 and going up.  That is a good sign.

Games should be good.  Especially the 3-0 Elks taking on Rourke and the toothless Lions  

I have to admit that I was extremely pissed at the last minute run back by Ottawa to screw up my bet.  

This did not age well.  I should have taken the 17.5 

I was thinking....  not a good thing for my bank account.  

Anyways, in a perfect world, two equal football teams would be even in spread/ML.  However, a home team is automatically given a +3 points for being at home sleeping in their own beds and having thousands of screaming fans cheering them on.  The spread for this game is -1.5 for Calgary.  This would mean Toronto is seen as the stronger team since if they were of equal stature, Calgary would be -3.  But, who really cares....

I was thinking how I hate both of these quarterbacks.  VA did me right last week and hopefully broke my VA curse.  Kelly is and will always be an asshole.  Kelly puts up a lot of yards and is considered quite the gunslinger.  However, there was a moment during the last game I have seen the opposite.  A noodle arm when throwing it deep.  His receivers are the reason his numbers are inflated.  His completion rate is better than VA's but could be due to his better receivers.  Chad does have 6 int. compared to VA's 0 though.  After watching both quarterbacks, they both fold under pressure.  Chad blames everyone but himself and VA goes into a shell and hides but doesn't point the finger.  Chad has almost 500 more yards passing than VA which is why they are 2-1 and Calgary is 1-3.

Without looking up the stats, I hate when I choose Toronto and watch them take soooo many stupid penalties.  

I really don't know who to pick!!  I think it is time to bring out the coin to decide this game.  I was leaning Tor. because I think Chad should theoretically get better since his come back from injury.  But, playing in Calgary after Canada Day....   Mmmm.....

OK.  Sorry VA but the coin has spoken.  Now go out and break that goose egg of interceptions.  I would like 3 tonight please.    Now watch, Chad throws a couple  instead to ruin my pick.    Stupid coin.  I should have just passed but action is action.
