The Argos started the season 2-0 and since then have went 0-2. What has changed? Dukes threw 5 TDs and 0 INTs the 1st 2 games, and 0 TDs with 5 INTs his last 2. Secondly, Toronto's D line. Oakman is now on the Elks, Ceresna is hurt, and not sure what's up with Orimolade. Dukes and the Argos cannot turn the ball over against the Alouettes if they want any chance in this one. Adeleke (DB) and Giffen (OL) are also out for the Argos.

Montreal is coming into this game off of a huge 4th quarter last week where they outscored the Stamps 18-3 and snuck out a win. They are on a short week playing on Saturday where the Argos played last Thursday. Marc-Antoine Dequoy (DB) is doubtful for Alouettes which is a huge blow. 2 DBs, 2 OL and 1 LB also out for Als. Both teams are banged up. Fletcher (Stanbeck's replacement) is playing really well. Last week he hauled in all 9 passes thrown his way for 104 yards (100 YAC) and also added 5 carries on the ground for 56 yards including a 30 yard TD run late in the 4th quarter last week. Fajardo likes the dump off and simple/easy throws, Fletcher had more receptions then carries. The Als lead the league in offensive PPG (31.4) and offensive TDs (17). The defence leads in points allowed (19.8) and offensive TDs allowed (8). Montreal wins, Toronto covers.
26-23 Alouettes

The Stampeders are missing something again this year. There’s a lack of spark in their offence and it’s not like their defence is coming in with big plays to turn the tide. It looked like they were going to beat the invincible Als last week but then the 4th quarter happened. This is not a confident team and Maier needs to step up. This is the last time Calgary and Winnipeg will meet this season which is bizarre and Calgary winning the 1st game.

The Bombers finally got their 1st win of the year last week taking down the RedBlacks. They did it all on the ground as Oliveira and Streveler combined for 208 rushing yards. Jefferson had a key forced fumble and recovery and was back to his usual disruptive self. Oliveira had a big day with 23 carries for 129 yards and caught 5 passes for 37 yards. It looks like Collaros will start. Bryant and Bighill are questionable but practised in full on Wed. Bombers win and cover.
28-20 Bombers

My Riders are hot, and so am I betting them (4-0 ATS and ML). The defence is legit. They take the ball away on defence better than any team. They lead in +/- in the giveaway/takeaway category and so far the Riders are the highest scoring team on per game basis in the CFL. They're also the best team at stopping the run allowing 46.0 YPG on the ground and lead the league in INTs with 9. The last time Vernon Adams faced a Corey Mace coached team/defence (last year in Toronto) he threw 6 INTs in that game! And to add, Marcus Sayles (DB) got cut by BC and picked up by the Riders and had a monster game last week with 2 tackles and 1 INT return for a TD. It looks like Bane is also playing in this game as he has practised in full on Tue and Wed.

Well last week's game against the TiCats wasn't competitive at all. But are the TiCats that bad or BC that good? I lean more to the TiCats being that bad. Justin McInnis had a huge game, hauling in 103 yards and 1 TD in the opening quarter alone. He finished with 144 yards and 2 TDs on 10 catches. Adams has thrown for 300+ yards in all but 1 game so far this season. I give the edge in this game to the Lions, I think they win but it's close and believe the spread is too big. If Trevor Harris wasn't hurt I'd call this game a true coin flip.
27-22 Lions

Just like Calgary, I am not seeing the consistent wow factor from Ottawa yet this season and are on a tough back to back western swing against a very well rested and potentially rejuvenated Elks team. The Elks will have been off for 17 days when they take the field on Sunday evening. Dru Brown is also questionable and Crum is not the answer. Not sure when Masoli will be ready. Either way Ottawa is not a very good team.

The Elks had a bye week and long break off and made some big changes in that time. They picked up Derrick Moncrief who has been in the Chris Jones system almost his entire career and does well in it. They also beefed up an already good DL picking up Oakman from the Argos and signed Noah Taylor. I believe the Elks come out firing and play to win and bury the hapless RedBlacks. I love Edmonton in this spot to win and cover a growing spread.

I love Edmonton to pick up their 1st win here after a long break and some new key additions. They'll play with more juice and be motivated to win.

Don't like anything else, but if I had to pick another game to tease: WPG +2

TOP OFFENSIVE GRADE: BC Lions - easy choice with VA throwing for almost 400 yards and 4 TDs and McInnis adding 144 rec yards and 2 TDs. The Lions had 34 points at halftime.

TOP DEFENSIVE GRADE: Saskatchewan Roughriders - the defence took over the game in the 2nd half especially, intercepting Dukes 4 times including a pick 6. They also held Carey to 39 yards on 11 carries.

You put a 7 point teaser on Edmonton?  Just Edmonton? At Pinny, I have to have at least two picks for a 7 point teaser and they will only pay -120.  What does a one pick 7 point teaser cost in juice?  Pinny also has 7 point edmonton teaser at +2 and you got +3.5?  I though Pinny was best for odds so obviously I am wrong or you just picked earlier in the week which is good.  What book do you use if you don't mind me asking?  I want to know if Pinny is ripping me off... LOL.  It might sound like I am questioning you or your pick but that is not the case at all.  I am questioning Pinny.   Thanks.

I'll usually tease between 2-3 games when making a teaser.  I always try to post at least 2 teaser picks a week and that's the bet I'll make, there may just not be more than 1 pick I am super in love with and don't include that in my teaser record, I mention it in my post and include a 2nd game.

Teaser picks are 9-2 if you include the secondary teaser picks, 6-2 without.  I'll start posting my teaser results with and without the secondary games, be interesting to see how that turns out. 

I use Bet365 primarily and Sports Interaction as my backup.  They sometimes have better lines/odds then Bet365, like this week for example.  The Elks line has been fluctuating all week, bouncing from -3 to -5.  When I made my teaser this week I watched line movement and when the Elks were at -3.5 I jumped on getting them at +3.5 with WPG +2 on a 7 pt teaser.  You're not quite getting 2 to 1 on that but I've done really well on teasing CFL and NFL games, sticking to 3 games max. 

I wish I made my WPG ATS bet earlier on in the week when they were -2.5.  I was betting them either way with or without Collaros.  I got them at -5 by the time I made my bet when Collaros was announced as starting, and +2 on a teaser with EDM +3.5.

On Bet365 you can tease anywhere from 4 - 10 pts.  I am usually teasing between 6-7 pts depending if I am going over key numbers.  I've never used Pinnacle before.  On my books you need a minimum of 2 teaser picks too, I've made sure to include 2 teaser picks per week.  Thanks for your input and good luck!
