Rankin is on another level right now, he is a game breaker. Winnipeg is coming off a bye and loss before the bye. Dru Brown also got traded back to Winnipeg, with the RedBlacks then picking up MBT. The weather was brutal last week in Edmonton and I still need to see more out of the Elks. Right now, they are a one man show on offense and their defense has improved from last year. Bombers are a tough out at home and the Elks are a bit too high on themselves after giving Alexander his 1st regular season loss.

What a game last week between the Riders and Stamps. The Riders offense looks extremely potent and Harris has been accurate and has 3 top tier WRs to throw the ball to. Ouellette is doubtful, Duncan-Busby and Lokombo is out. Toronto is on a short week and this is technically a home game for them in Regina, due to the World Cup. And because of that the Riders will be debuting and only wearing for this game their prairie blizzard all white jerseys. The Argos offense is looking good with Kelly not afraid to take shots down the field, although their defense needs some work. The Riders are too much in this one at home. Oh wait, I mean on 'the road'.

This game will be played in Kelowna due to World Cup games being played at BC Place. The Stamps gave the Riders a run for their money last week and almost completed the comeback win. They are a solid team, and it's hard to believe 1 of these 2 teams will be 0-3 after this week. We have to keep an eye on BCs injury report as now McInnis may not be playing this game, along with them missing 3 WRs last week against the TiCats. And let's talk about BCs defense, they can't cover a turtle or stop a grandpa from running on them, they are atrocious. With BC missing multiple WRs and the defense playing like they are, BC is a no bet right now.
37-30 Stamps

Ottawa has no identity. Maier looks slow and lost. They don't have a run game, no WRs to be scared of, and the defense is not that good like they should of been. Montreal has an identity, is coming off a loss, Alexander is salivating at the mouth to play in this matchup and put his 1st regular season loss behind him against the worst team in the league. If the Argos can beat the RedBlacks in Ottawa by 20, surely the Alouettes can beat Ottawa by 9+ in Montreal?
