MTL -3@ HAM Hamilton beat Montreal twice in the regular season by a wide margin, BUT Alexander wasn't playing in either of those games. Mustafa Johnson is doubtful for the Als, but an even bigger concern for the TiCats is they will be without 3 DL (all 3 already ruled out). Looks like it will be pretty windy for the game (24 km+ winds).
Hamilton is the #1 seed in the East and earned their bye, yet Montreal is favored on the road by 3 points. If Alexander was playing the whole season then the Als would of easily won the East. They are the better team, and Alexander is that guy who wills his team to wins. He wants it, he's hungry, he plays with a fire lit under his eyes.
I said it a few weeks ago I like Montreal to get to the Grey Cup, and I am still love them and am sticking with that pick. Montreal wins and covers. 30-25 Alouettes
BC @ SK -3 The Riders beat BC twice out of 3 times during the regular season, with their only loss coming near the end of the season when the Riders were resting players and they still almost won in a game BC had to win to clinch 2nd in the West. The weather here in Regina sucks right now. It is cold, slippery, and was snowing last night. It will be around -7 but feel colder then that around gametime. The Riders will be without Shane Ray, but other then him this is by far the healthiest the Riders have been all season. The Lions will be without 2 LB, 1 DL and 1 OL. Tommy Stevens is back for the Riders, he will be an X-factor today.
This is the Riders game to win. They are by far more physical/tougher then BC on both sides of the ball and in the trenches. The Riders are going to push BC around. They have a bruising RB and homefield advantage. The conditions are favorable for the Riders and their style of play but aren't favorable for Rourke and BCs explosive passing game today going up against the leagues top defense. If the Riders don't shoot themselves in the foot then this should be a sweat free win for the Riders. As I said with the Als making the Grey Cup a few weeks ago, I said the same for the Riders. I love the Riders to win and cover and play Montreal in the big game! 27-20 Riders
TEASERS: 6.5pts MTL +3.5 SK +3.5
Good luck!
