WPG@OTT : WPG -7 ATS for the full game.

MTL@EDM : MTL -5.5 ATS for the full game.

CGY@BC : CGY +8 ATS for the full game.

I mentioned last week.  I layed a lot of lumber last year.  Is this the year to take the points in the CFL.  Hmm.

WPG lost both preseason games & their home opener last week.  If WPG does not hammer OTT this Thur night, I will be shocked!

MTL basically returned the entire whole team from last year.  EDM is a snake bitten team.  They need to find a way to become a winning team.  They still do not know how to win football games.  PENALTIES for sure.  They will become better as the season wears on but I will back MTL on the road again.  Folks backing EDM here.

BC's VA Jr. hurt his throwing hand again.  This QB has a history of doing this even back in college!  Throw in the 50 Cent concert, 50, 000 seats sold for this game, they had to move the stage out of the stands & onto the field to accommodate ticket demand.  Talk about pressure.  CGY can easily stay within the 8.  Line opened @ -9.5  It's got to be the hand of VA.

I will wait for the Sun night game.

CGY has a bye week after the BC extravaganza game this week, in BC.

They might as well give it a good go!!  Knowing they have the next week off.  Should be a great game.

With that bye there is no reason why CGY will not give it their all, here in BC.  Why not.

CGY is on the road.  It's all a distraction for BC players.  No doubt arriving at the facility, looking out for the Cent.

All CGY has to do is stay focused here!!  Go up 2-0 and have the following week off.

Should be a Great game.

@ least that is how I feel about these games before they are played.  Anything can happen.

I like Winnipeg too this week, but I don't like Oliviera and Lawler being out.  They are getting Bighill back though, and want to ruin Dru Brown's (former Bomber) home opener.  Also like Calgary to stay within the number.  Good luck this week.

Figures, the lines moved against me on the OTT & EDM game.

Along with Lawler, RB Brady Oliveira is also out for Bombers tonight.  

Also some bad weather expected in Ottawa tonight, heavy rain and thunderstorms.

I'm now leaning towards taking the under instead of a side.  Maybe a Bombers pk/Under 53.5 teaser

Ottawa and total under are favored by most of the top pickers (7-1) in CFL king of covers contest.

Looking at the weather, it might be bad for the first part of the game, 1st quarter, but then the storm system will move out.  So not sure that will be a factor.

I have been stewing for 2 days over this game.  I know Winnipeg didn't fare well with Montreal last week.  They could be still bummed out over the loss.  Ottawas hasn't even played a game so they don't know what they are all about yet.  I'll guess I will take the seasoned Vet with a game under his belt over the not so seasoned who is playing their first game.  I just don't like the points.  Therefore, I am with icemanbi with a parlay of Peg + Oilers.  The difference is I have Oilers for ML and I am only wagering less then 1/2 unit.  I plan on doing an in-game wager
