This game is a repeat of the 2023 Grey Cup game played in Hamilton last year. MTL won the game 28-24 as an underdog getting 7 pts. I was on WPG. Big money came in that afternoon supporting MTL.

MTL earned that Grey Cup.

I somehow feel things might favour WPG in this game. WPG revenge for sure!

Travel should not be a problem for MTL as this is the first game to start the 2024 season. I will be curious if MTL stays out West as they play EDM week 2. WPG travels to OTT week 2.

Classic "Let Down" spot for MTL. Grey Cup Hangover... maybe? They'll roll into town saying, HEY, remember us from last year? I some how believe WPG will remember! So will the fans! So will Mr. O'Shea!

This is a big game for both teams but I have to feel WPG will be prepared for this game.

Here is the "Rouge" as it were. What will be the point spread? Folks only remember what happened last week or last game. WPG should be a small Fav because they lost to MTL in the Grey Cup last year as -7 pt favs.

If WPG is 6 or less I will start thinking about backing WPG in this revenge spot! MTL played WPG 2 times during the 2023 season. Lost @ home 3-17 getting 6 pts and again losing @ WPG 17-47 getting 7.5

Books like to keep WPG 6 or higher with these 2 teams.

I am 3 months and 5 days ahead of myself BUT I am liking WPG in this spot.

WPG 6 or less is the play at this point in time.

WPG might be looking past their 2 preseason games against @ SSK and then home to CGY. Beat MTL then cruise into OTT, who is coming off a week 1 Bye, and WPG will probably be laying like -10 or more. Big game for Bob Dyce and company. OTT got Brown and now they have to show something early in the season or that team is looking at another long year.

I was going to continue capping the preseason games but what is the point. Watch the games, enjoy, take notes and get ready for the regular CFL season. 3 more games to look at in week 1.

I doubt they win by 14+.

In fact the line has dropped half a point since opening.

Somebody or group has released MTL as a play.

I now have WPG -6 points for this game.

I am not reading or listening to anything negative about the Bombers.

Amazing season last year Chef, congrats! Let's keep it rolling this year. I'm guessing you know more about the league than most of the books out there, so hopefully we can get some nice openers and beat some line moves.
