This game is NOT being played at BC Place.  It is being played on Vancouver Island in the city of Langford.

The stadium is called Starlight Stadium.  Holds 6000, cost 3 million to build, artificial turf.

The new BC "UpRoar" dance team will perform at halftime.

Folks in attendance will receive 2 dollars off any brisket sandwich, lol.

Supposed to be 12 degrees with a 40% chance of rain to start the game then diminishing to 30 then 20% as the game goes on.

I like BC's backup QB's more than CGY's.

If Vernon Adams Jr. was starting for CGY, that would intrigue me more since he was kicked to the curb by BC last year, in favor of Rourke.

It is just a better situation for BC all round. 

Last year BC went to CGY and lost 6-30 week 2 preseason.

BC then beat CGY 17-26 at BC for their home open'er.

Now, these 2 teams play this preseason game THEN they do not meet each other again, until week 16.  4 months after the season starts!

By then CGY at home, will have a 6 day rest advantage over BC on Friday night Sept 19.  They will meet again in week 19 where both teams will be even with 7 days of rest with BC at home for that game.

I guess as far as preseason goes this is a Revenge game for BC, lol.

Look nobody really knows who is going to play and for how long?  It's preseason, lol.

Got a nice parlay ticket shaping up, with one of the games being this one. I bit on the over, hoping for some sort of calamities happening that result in TD's.

I like that most of these preseason matchups are home and home series. Thinking the majority will go 1-1 ats, so could be some good value on the ats losers of week 2 in week 3.
