Gulfstream Park, Race 1

1 Mile, Purse: $19,000, Maiden Claiming $16k, Post: 1:00 p.m. ET

No. 2 SNOW AND LILLYLYNN (12/1): She will be big odds at post time, and that's mostly due to her 0-13 record, however she has been very close to breaking her maiden in the past when racing over the turf.

Today she draws a good post to flaunt some of that early speed. Although winning the race might be a stretch, she could definitely be a good play to SHOW as her front running style could have her hanging around for a piece late.

Gulfstream Park, Race 4

1 Mile, Purse: $19,000, Maiden Claiming $16K, Post: 2:39 p.m. ET

No. 2 HERCULINA (8/1): There is quite a bit of early speed in here and horses that seemingly want the front end. That could set up well for a filly looking to execute an off the pace trip.
Last start she rated well and unfortunately just didn't fire in deep stretch.

Hoping for a similar trip to the one she had when racing on the turf, but this time around flaunting a late closing kick. Take a shot on betting this filly to hit the board at what should be double digit odds at post time.

Gulfstream Park, Race 6

7 Furlongs, Purse: $47,000, Optional Claiming $62.5k, Post: 3:43 p.m. ET

No. 6 SNIPER SHOT (6/5): The price in the morning line is very short, but I would expect him to float up a little higher than the ML odds around post time. This gelding has raced very well in all three career starts, including a near miss two starts back where he attempted to re-rally and came up a bit short.

Expect him to be put into play early and if he can rate well on the lead, he will be very difficult to pass late.

Gulfstream Park, Race 9

6 Furlongs, Purse: $47,000, Optional Claiming 62.5k, Post: 5:17 p.m. ET

No. 6 FORTIN HILL (9/5): Another short price in here that looks like a worthy single in all of your exotic wagers. This undefeated colt has looked great capitalizing off two stalking trips and now gets the opportunity to race against similar company he defeated in his most recent.

The time away from the racetrack is normally a little bit off-putting as he has not raced in 10 months, however his two races have been eight months apart and he's looked great in both pari-mutuel efforts.

Gulfstream Park, Race 10

1 Mile 1/16th, Purse: $36,000, Maiden Claiming $65k, Post: 5:47 p.m. ET

No. 3 COWTOWN (5/1): He has been racing a lot better since adding blinkers which have definitely helped to get this one out to a much better start. Today he takes a drop in class into the claiming ranks and tries his luck on the turf for the first time.

Getting to compete versus claiming horses puts this colt at a much easier level where he should be a factor. Hoping the change of surface and the drop can help to spark a big effort.
