WTF?!?! PLEASE HELP! Juan Ignacio Chela is only -180 vs a Futures/Challenger Pospisil?!?!?!
in Tennis
IMO, the word specialist has more to do with the percentage of matches played on the surface rather than win/loss percentage
Chela plays close to 70% of his matches on clay, and generally goes out first or second round when he does play hard courts...as a rule, I don't bet against players in their home country especially against someone that won't be on their favored surface |

Golubev over Hidalgo???
man, Golubev is such crap right now...lost his last 15 or something matches and travelling from Argentina to Sweden...and 0-11 this year on clay and 4-23 overall (including exhibition and challengers) not that Hidalgo looks that much better, but someone has to win this match the tipping point in this one might be that Golubev won Hamburg last year (which is next week) so he's got all those points to defend (it's an ATP500 event)...he'll be using this week to try to gain some form so I'd expect him to be focused and try to make a run you may have something here now that I've looked closer at it...good talking points, Gavin...I'll be keeping my eye on this match |

Do you ever look at whether a Singles player is playing Doubles ALSO at the same tournament?
in Tennis
the vast majority of the players will care about their singles matches way way way more than their doubles matches
betting on doubles matches (especially in these small tournaments) is a huge crapshoot...a lot of the times players will pair up just to fill out the bracket I really just ignore doubles completely unless it's a slam |

Bogomolov definitely has the upper hand over Isner in the "form" category
he's played a lot more tennis this year and had decent (not great, but decent) results...and with as erratic as Isner has played, +300 is a pretty good price |

I like Dolonts as well
She crushed Safarova and Cirstea on their 2nd serves...if Hercog doesn't have a good service game tomorrow, this one could be over quickly...it'll be a small play for me hoping that she continues this run Dominguez-Lino I don't like only because of the home country factor for Larsson to you |

what a shit tournament this is...it's been such a crapshoot so far, and proabably will continue to be a crapshoot
it's so bad, it has the feel of a challenger level tournament, not ATP...Isner is the only "big" name there, and it's his first time seeded #1 at a tournament even though this is the lowest he's been ranked in almost 2 years nothing surprises me in this tournament, and the showings by the Americans has been pretty poor to say the least (sweeting, harrison, young in particular) I really hope Isner runs away with this tournament given the players that are left...he really needs something to get his confidence boosted going into the summer HC season |

The line opened much lower than that...I saw it at -175 last night
It must have really moved today |

How insane would it be if Fed and Nadal lost on the same day after being up 2 sets?...wow
sims, is the Nadal foot injury looking like a factor here?...I can't watch at work |

nice day n3g!
I was sweating out Lisicki as well...prime example of why you shouldn't look at rankings when capping...hope too many people didn't get burned |

Lisicki I think stands a good chance at the upset...tough draw for Li Na
I wouldn't play Mello ML...I just don't think he's that great on grass Seppi/Bags under...I hope so...The quicker those two are off the courts, the better |
