The biggest question in this series will be, Have the Kings lost their momentum? Besides the layoff, the Kings did not have the energy in the last two games against Phoenix that they had in the two previous series. I would not go as far as to say they were flat, but they seem to be showing signs of fatigue. The question will be answered tonight in the first 5 mins of game 1. If they can regain the energy and jump they displayed in their first two series it will be Kings in 5. If they show up as the same team from game 4 and 5 against the Coyotes it will be Devils in 6.
Hope it is a great series either way. Good luck to all! |

The Kings are playing mistake free hockey. I can not recall a more dominant and hotter playoff team without going back 15+ years.Their frenzy type fore-checking is more effective then the left wing lock. They have a red hot goaltender and an even hotter goal scorer. Many old vets always tell me playoff series come down to goaltending, so Jonathan Quick vs. Mike Smith.
Look for the Kings to sweep. The opening line for game 1 is Kings -120. Jump it now |

Ovechkin is a great talent, no doubt. One of the best of the puck-handlers I have ever seen, not a bad skater either.
Fans of his will point out that he leads the league in hits and that he has a rough and tough player. However this is NOT the case. Ovechkin is an opportunist when it comes to contact. He only lowers the boom on someone when he sees an opponent in a vulnerable position. He is exactly like Claude Lemieux when it comes to playing a physical game. Only a bad ass when he sees someone with thier head down, losing thier edge, lined up with boards or crossbar. Lets see him drop the gloves, then you will see the true person....a coward. Hopefully Ovechkin will get his some day just like Lemieux. There is a growing feeling of hatred toward Ovechkin among NHL players. Besides his numerous dirty hits he also celebrates every goal like he just won the Stanley Cup, not that he knows what that feels like. Any thoughts on who's the best player to take him to school? Remember, justice is served on the ice. |

I prefer large dogs, they are a little less needy and more intelligent. I have had eight dogs all together. Weimaraner, black Lab, Irish setter, Great dane/Golden retriever mix, Beagle, German Sheppard, Gordon Setter, Rottwieller. All have their pros and cons. Since you are going to rescue one from a shelter you are probably going to get a mutt, which is great, sometimes even smarter than the pure breds, I would suggest looking for Lab or Sheppard mix. They are dominant genes so the sheppard/Lab traits will be obvious. these are loyal and smart dogs. also great with kids if you have any or intend to. If you are looking for a smaller dog I would sugest a beagle or spaniel. Beagles are great but have two issues. They chew even into their adult years and if they get lost they are not good at finding thier way home.
Large dogs will have joint issue such as arthritisis and hip dysplasia, but it will only be later in life. When they do there is not much you can do but use common sense to help them. keep them inside when it gets cold and rainy. Give them an aspirin or advil when they are suffering. There will be good days and bad days. it will be obviuos. When they are reallly suffering you have to do the hard thing and put them down. The vet will offer all sorts of treatments, potions, ointments but they do not work. Skin conditions can be fixed with the correct hygene and more importantly diet. Most skin allergys come from what they are eating. Except with Dalmations, their skin conditions are almost impossible to resolve. As far as training it is all about putting in the time and the first two years are the most important. Hope this is helpful. |

I think this thread should be changed to list best cities not clubs, because within one city the clubs are usually comparable based on the need to complete.
You can not compare Canada clubs to US. Based on what I have seen and felt, Canada is way a head of the US in this department. This only based on five visits, one to Montreal, and two to Toronto and Vancouver. With that said best cities in the US are: 1- Dallas 2- Tampa 3- Atlanta 4- Fort Lauderdale 5- Houston 6- New York 7- Nashville 8- Chicago 9- Las Vegas 10- Charlotte New Orleans would have ranked pre-Katrina, not now though. |

I disagree with some picks but agree with most. I also think goalie should be a different thread.
Agree on Gomez Morrow Kessel Not mentioned but I think is more overated than all is Eric Cole. Disagree on: Pronger Modano Drury |
