if you weren't involved in the hand, i would keep my mouth shut. there's no benefit to you that everyone knows he was bluffing. if it were my friend that folded to the bluffer, i would wait till your guys' session was done and tell him when you guys are both off the table.
remember any edge you can get over your opponents, you don't want to expose it. the bluffer might continue to bluff away, but if you called him out, then you have a much smarter (and angrier) player at the table.

well here's another angle, if the program was rigged, then the money these action heads lose won't be going to the poker website but to another player.
so your argument's basis is a little misunderstood because unless these noob poker players are losing it to a company employee that is pretending to be a player, they aren't necessarily handing money over to the poker site.
remember they only make money off of the rake, and when these new players start out they will be in the micro to low stakes. rake there is like 15 cents.
in my opinion it just seems that it would take too much money and effort to rig the random card software so that they make profit that really isn't that much to begin with. in another words, the benefit cost analysis of setting something up is shittttt

hey guys i'm heading over to vegas this weekend for some gambling and this will only be my 2nd time heading over there (as i'm from VA, i just hit up borgata for poker)
now i've only played 1/2NL at the tables and i've always done decently well, and i'm just curious about the 2/5 games. I'm only taking about a G for poker and do you guys think it's worth it for me to go into a 2/5 with only two buy-ins? if i lose a G i don't care but i'm not planning on playing with more of my money that i'm taking. I have a good grasp on 1/2 and i know i'll be alright if i stay in those stakes, but 2/5 just sounds so filling to my appetite. my friend says there's less donk playing at 2/5 which would help my style of play out considerably. last time i was at the venetian i had a nice little 6 hr grind and the feeling of having a pyramid stack of red nickels (4-3-2-1 style to make a G) always feels nice. So I'm scared for getting a couple bad beats at the 2/5 table and losing two buy-ins, but at the same time i'm interested in a more thought-provoking style of play... what are your suggestions? and also how are the 100-150 dollar buy-in tourneys? which is the softest? i expect the tourneys to be at 40-50 peeps? |

i don't know if they provide new players with e-checks anymore, but they did a couple years ago and i am still able to use e-checks to deposit, and when withdrawing it takes like 3-5 days for them to direct deposit back into my checking-

electric and chance P are the ones that are decent semi-pro's right? we should start a thread, and analyze hands. I'm not a pro but i do have friends that are in your level of multi tabling 1/2NL. ttys.

Lost 70K on that hand. what kind of idiot calls that?
everyone has already flamed you for your 10-10 offsuit remark... but i want to burn you on your crazy response to AA calling your all-in on a flop like that. The majority of the time I would call with AA too. an all-in move on a flop like that screams JJ or QQ. Even KK wouldn't push there depending on the situation. to the better poker players... calling an all-in with AA is def +EV on a flop like that.... your opinions? Next time please post a hand history- |

Also, this should be #8 on my list, people will play small stakes, go on a rush, win 3-4 buy ins, move up in stakes lose 1-2 buy ins and be bust, not knowing that they will and should cool off. Winning poker is a grind and if you think you will just keep doubling your bank roll people are mistaken. definitely dude, i now change it to live games see 20-30 hands and online close to 100 an hour.... and let's not forget those that play 4-8 tables at ONCE! that's like 1000 hands daily... |
