As predicted 3 days ago the league installs Scott Foster for today's game. The NBA is so predictable sometimes. He is currently 11-1 SU this playoff for the road team. I am certain that is not why he is installed here. Further dude has been a LeBron assistant for years (similar to Joey and Danny Crawford). If you are laying -360 chalk today good luck because you will need it. You not only have Scott Foster who is 11-1 SU for the road team this playoffs but LeBron on an 8-0 SU playoff trend in game 2's coming off a game 1 loss. That is quite a bit stacked against you and you get no value in your wager.
Anyhow more on Foster https://www.foxnews.com/story/2008/07/14/disgraced-former-nba-referee-tim-donaghy-phone-calls-to-second-ref-raise.html
And they had to be sure they could pull this one off so we get the addition of Tony Brothers and Zach Zarba. Ouch. Warriors are 3-7 SU their last 10 Zarba games. This is their worst win pctg with any ref in the NBA over the last ten.
And the full ref stats
ZACH ZARBA Home fave ATS 5-9.5pts -- 8-14 Cavs SU L10 -- 6-4 Warriors SU L10 -- 3-7
SCOTT FOSTER Home fave ATS 5-9.5pts -- 9-13 Cavs SU L10 -- 5-5 Warriors SU L10 -- 6-4
JOHN GOBLE Home fave ATS 5-9.5pts -- 17-11 Cavs SU L10 -- 7-3 Warriors SU L10 -- 9-1
TONY BROTHERS Home fave ATS 5-9.5pts -- 8-12 Cavs SU L10 -- 5-5 Warriors SU L10 -- 7-3
Good luck with whatever you play. I am on Cavs +8 and ML because it is where all the value is today. Star player out, one of the biggest game fixers in the game (Scott Foster), one of the Warriors worst refs (Zach Zarba), public money backing the Warriors on Belmont Stakes weekend, and LeBron with an 8 game bounce back winning streak. All of that comes with 8pts and +300 value. Hard to pass up.

Here is the lifetime units lost for the 3 main refs today -- numbers on the left are Home record ATS and the right is the Under record ATS -- Sports Insights offers this function now pretty sweet (Covers you need to start doing this too -- you have the data why not compile it)
(231-270, -50.3)
(232-244, -21.5)
(240-252, -23.3)

Exactly Amazatron -- I actually bet a friend a six pack we would see Scott Foster today -- cashed and I'll be drinking while watching -- I'll say this if the Warriors can beat these refs and these trends today this will be a crazy game -- going to be extremely tough though IMO

Right -- and people think NBA refs are legit and that Donaghy was a rogue agent - too funny -- this is seriously the Warriors murder's row of refs hahaha

micky zometimes the story is bigger than the game - if nba wants a series they need thesr refs today thus the assignment - also public is 50/50 - nba assigns refs not vegas

That's a good angle. But I think that Vegas has more grip on the fixing than the NBA itself. They can make a series with CLE down 0-2 and climbing back 2-2 and make money on the side. It's not 50/50 as lines already dropped 1pt and will most likely drop 0.5 more.
These are good stats really as I believe that game fixing is very rampant in the NBA. However, I'm not betting against the house. And i feel like the house is on GSW on this one.
GL though.

Scott Foster averaging NBA-high 19.3 fouls called/48 min these playoffs. Player he has called the most fouls on? Draymond Green. Warriors leading +/- for the post season? Draymond Green. I wonder why he is working today?

House needed Blackhawks last night Mickey, and they needed field against Pharoh -- doesn't mater if the house loses one or two days because they get it all back -- watch some square action burn in MLB today while the Cavs get the victory the NBA needs to extend the series and capitolize on their best ratings in 20 years

I hope so but will be series changer if Cavs can win this one. I think Cavs almost have to win today if they are to end up winning the series.
Cavs hope they can win both home games to get a 3-1 lead. I am not convinced Cavs can win both games 3 and 4 so that is why winning game 2 is critical, just in case GSW can win one and the series ends up 2-2.
I'll agree with CaVS +8 today. But even with Kyire, Cavs chances of being up "3-1" was simply unrealistic. Best they could've done if healtthy was a 2-2. The Dubs are simplier more deep and well coached with a better game plan. Granted LeBron is still the best player in the world, only so much he can do based on if the 3's are knocking down from the supporting player (Tristan and Mozgov was solid G1 though, I'd admit as a Dubs fan I was scared) I hope this becomes a series as well but I'm bet on a sweep or 5 games at this rate.
