Missouri State (+10) -- Since conference play has started, Missouri State has been a rejuvenated team. They won their first game and then let a game slip away at Evansville. Downing and Kirk should continue their solid play in an away game against a struggling Drake team losing by double digits in both games. (2 Units)
Northern Iowa (+9) -- Illinois State should win this game, but there will be a hangover from the big game on Wednesday night. Northern Iowa needs a win and should be ready to play for a big conference clash. (2 Units) Middle Tennessee State (-6) -- Middle Tennessee State will be angry after an overtime conference loss to Arkansas State. Their offense should come back to form against a weaker opponent. (1 Unit) Marquette (-2) -- Buzz is back. After the suspension, the Golden Eagles get their coach back for a big conference showdown. This is not only Georgetown's first conference game, it is their first road game of the year. (1 Unit)

NCAA BB
Overall (5-5) +1.4 Units Best Bets (3-1) +3.8 Units Oklahoma State (+3) -- While the Octagon is always a difficult place to play, the early start may suppress some of the usual energy. Kansas State has struggled to shoot the ball all season and I cannot imagine much changing today. Oklahoma State's guards Smart, Nash, and Brown have caused havoc inside the three point line all season. There are just too many options for Okie State if one player is shut down. Meanwhile the Pokes defense has been more efficient the whole season compared to the tough Wildcat defense. (2 Units) Georgia Tech (+2) -- Big loss not having Reggie Johnson today. Miami is already one of the poorest rebounding teams in the country and the loss of Johnson will only deteriorate the situation. The two freshman Carter and Georges-Hunt have been solid all season for the Yellow Jackets. This will be their first taste of ACC action and I would think they will be very fired up. NCAA BB -- (3-2) +2.8 Units Long Beach State (+1.5) -- Great spot for Long Beach State coming off their brutal schedule. They should be well seasoned for conference play. The numbers are very skewed because of their schedule. The Beach should be able to take advantage of the porous Poly defense. (1 Unit) Middle Tennessee State (-4) -- Very similar spot to the Creighton @ Illinois State game. MTSU is clearly the better team, but the stadium should be rocking as they await the elite conference member. MTSU's efficient offense and suffocating defense will provide the cover. (1 Unit)

Boise State (-4) -- Coming into tonights game Boise State has one of the best shooting teams in the country, shooting 50% inside the arc and 39.6 behind. Boise also does a fantastic job protecting the ball opposed to UTA being one of the worst in the country in the same category. UTA has a distinct advantage on the boards, but Boise is one of the best in the country at preventing offensive rebounds. (2 Units)
Creighton (Pick) -- The line has constantly moved on this game. This will be a matchup of two great shooting teams. Illinois State may have got caught looking ahead in this one against Indiana State, and I believe there may be to much pressure on Illinois State. This should go back and forth with great atmosphere. I will go with the better team here to come through in the end. Creighton's 75.5 team FT% will be a big plus down the stretch as well. (1 Unit) Evansville (-13) -- Missouri State came away with a big win to open conference play. They will not be so lucky tonight. Missouri State has been smacked on the road this year by 20, 20, 19, and 12. The twelve point loss was to Alabama A&M. Look for Missouri State to come back to form against a much more talented Evansville. (1 Unit)

They did not cover against North Carolina State. That was mostly a push for people.

I like UConn and the under 133 UConn is actually shooting 31.9% from deep, which is not good at all. Marquette has a slight advantage shooting 32.1%, again this is nothing special. The big difference is UConn takes a higher volume, which does not bode well with such a poor percentage. They do have an advantage with the turnovers, but I believe Marquette's rebounding will give them a much greater advantage.

Marquette -5 (2 Units) -- This will not only be UConn's first Big East road game, it will be their first true road game of the season. UConn's rebounding woes should continue with Otule and Gardner down low. Marquette also sports a 72.5 team FT%, which will be beneficial if the game comes down to the charity stripe.
Florida Atlantic -8.5 (1 Unit) -- Hofstra has been a mess all season, beginning with the on campus burglaries. Hofstra doesn't do much well, except getting to the free throw line, but they shoot a miserable 62.6%. Look for Greg Gantt to continue his solid shooting from behind the arc.
