Okay guys -- A relatively new app to the android market is perfect for my daily plays. It's called "Sportstext".
I have set it up where I can text my plays to my 5 betting buddies in just seconds. The nice thing is when I want to make second half plays or late night plays I can get the info out to my buddies in a hurry. Plus the texts leave me nice history to check back on. If you share/give advice to people via text messaging check this out for sure. |

Bodog has removed the o/u, but you can bet on individual o/u's. Pats are 20.5 right now. Bears are 18.5.

Sorry, I was speaking in terms of a 7 point teaser. I am extremely new to this and am trying out different tactics right now. When I researched my start to college hoops, I realized I was right near .500 but most of the games were right near the line, so it came down to a last shot or possession rather or not it covered. To me, that is a vegas winner regardless if I win or not.
So I was winning easy about 2 out of 10 or so, where my gut was right, I never had to worry about a back door cover or a free throw fest. I was losing 2 out of 10 this same way. The game would be over before halftime, you wait and wait for a run that never comes and it never gets close.
The other 6 or so would be what I term Vegas winners, and even when I won these it felt cheap. These end up within seven points of the line or so and came down to critical play in the last minute. Right now I am able to pick three a day and either vegas wins it for me or I'm on the right side. I'm 4-0 so far, and all 12 games have been fun to watch. A few have made me sweat at the end but I haven't required a comeback winner yet, which helps for the heart. While this is probably just a lucky run, my logic is this: Let Vegas do what they do, they are a lot smarter than I am. I research games to try to avoid games with variables (injuries, big stories, etc. .). In my run, 12 games I have selected and I have been on the right side only five times. So if I was picking these with the normal spread I would be 5-7. Last night was the first time I was on the right side of all three games and it was also was the first play I made where Vegas was wrong in more than one of the games. I consider Vegas wrong when the finish is more than seven points off the line. Anyway, it may end up not being a good strategy, but its working for me right now. My goal is to not deposit, I'm a very small player and love having scores to watch each night on my phone. So in my 12 games so far: Vegas has been within 7 points of the final in 10 of 12 games I have been on the right side of the play 5 out 12 games As I posted earlier, I'm leaning very heavy towards Minn, Murray St, and So. Miss. for tonights play. I'm not completely sold on So. Miss yet. |

By the way, I use the term research lightly. Its from all the great contributors on this site. I really appreciate their time for this little money-losing habit of mine.

Ok, I have been trolling for a while, and I am on a current little streak with 7 point teasers. Not sure if it's luck or not yet. only time will tell.
Here is what I've found from the cover's forum this morning, wrapped up. I sent this to a buddy of mine and figured, WTH, why not post it. Here is my research for tonight: Rutgers has an injury to their big man. The back up did a great job against manmoth, but I'm not sure here. I actually would take Rugers +1 at home if I was to bet this one. I love Portland St. I would love to make their +15 into +22, but shouldn't, because its only in heart I would stay away from the duke game, as far away as possible. It's not up at SB right now anyway, but one of the players lost his sister in car accident and another is banged up and could see limited time (singler), no one knows. They should cover 35 against Gardner-Webb, just too many questions here. I am 100% on Minnesota -25 (-18). They are an amazing team at home and NIU blows at scoring. I see a bunch of people going back and forth on Murray St +2.5 at LA. Tech. I think I am going to try my same logic as last night, go on Murray St to give me 10 points and root for a close game! So. Miss wins straight up. They might not cover their 7, but if I make them SU at home, it should be a winner. BOL to all! |

Couldn't have been more wrong on the first one. As these boards piled on this morning, I should have laid off. Damn. Salukis and Flames teeter-tottering around 11, we will see who gets the last bounce.
