Yes, forgot a lot of SMU backers on Covers. Got the great # , but didn't matter. On to the next one. Good luck the rest of the day. |

@Semperfi When Lashley gets that " deer in the headlights look ", I know they're done. That was the case today. Bad weather, out of sync, gritty BC squad on home turf. SMU has been pretty good to me in the past, but these high flying, points galore teams that can't get their system rolling early are just toast, and the other team knows it. Hopefully later on Rutgers and Arizona play the games I think they are going to play, but the way this bowl season is going, it's anybody's guess |

Sorry to all the SMU backers. I had them as well weeks ago at -10, but live bet BC +10 early third quarter to get myself out of a mess and move on. It was a strong play for me, but I just sensed BC might be a bit more motivated 2nd half and they were. Got a great # on Rutgers as well when it opened. Please tell me I won't have to get out of that live as well!! |

@FelixFermin21 Some WagerTalk cappers, VSIN, some guys I follow on Twitter. Some had it in weeks ago when it was first posted. Just about everyone like SMU for various reasons. Don't recall anyone on BC, but I'm sure some sharps still had BC. If you had BC, good call. I had this game wrong. Seems SMU gets out of sync against grinder type teams like BC that try to slow them down. |

Yes, some bad calls, but BC has more grit. That's the difference today. |

SMU toast. They are soft, not like these blue collar BC players. In the rain, at Fenway, getting 13.5. Easy cover. |

Crazy bowl season continues. Got SMU -10 weeks ago and felt pretty good this morning when I saw some SMU -13.5 out there, but Mustangs soiling themselves mid-4th quarter. No chance at the cover, so hoping BC tacks on another TD or two to finish off this overrated SMU squad. I should have known BC would play tough in the rain in front of their home crowd at Fenway. Checked around this morning and saw a lot of the sharps were on SMU as well, so we all go down. |

@buttas No, I really mean it! After handing me the worst possible bad beat in my 27 year career, the football Gods were telling me enough!, get on with your life. I'm going to pick up my guitar again and take up the piano and spend more time with my family. I haven't had a free NFL Thurs./Sunday/Monday since I can remember. What a nice change it will be. |

I know a lot of football bettors say it, but I'm done. Really, I'm done. I'm throwing in the towel. I had Miami ML on the fourth leg of a 4 team ML parlay leftover from yesterday, and Miami loses the game up 2TD's with four and change to go. I just read it's the only time in the last 767 or something games a team down 2 TD's with under 4 minutes to go won outright in regulation. If that's not the absolute worst beat, the worst of the worst, the dagger of all daggers to end a pretty knowledgeable NFL cappers career, I don't know what is. It was a nice ride( 1996-2023), but I've got better things to do, and think of all the things I can spend money on now. Members, please chime in and tell me your honest opinion if you think anyone really wins money at this and who they are. Like a forum post I read earlier, It seems absolutely 100% impossible to predict any of this madness in the NFL betting world. |

@phillies73 That 4th and goal TD actually saved a 16 leg ML parlay I opened up earlier in the day. I couldn't believe the throw, the catch and how in the world the defender let his man get open and wasn't able to make a play on the ball. College football endings are absolutely without a doubt the craziest in all of sports. Finished all 16 legs later in the day after ND beat Stanford. Thank you Crimson Tide!!!! |

Back in August I took Wisconsin over 8.5 RSW. New coach, new QB, new OC. Really did my homework, looked at the schedule closely, thought they would be good for 9, maybe 10 wins. Fast forward to today. Almost 10 pt. fav. over mighty Indiana, winner of two games over world beaters Indiana State and Akron. Why hedge I thought. I'll worry about hedging next week, or the week after, etc. After all, how can Wisky lose to Indiana, right? Final score Indiana 20, Wisconsin 14. After watching a few of their games this season, honest to God, I don't think they could put the ball in the end zone if it were the Atlantic Ocean. I drank the Kool Aid also a few years ago when Nebraska hired Scott Frost. Months of hype, new players, coaches, playbook, etc. Is Fickell headed in the same direction or is it too early to tell? Is anyone else a little surprised with Wisky this season? |

Haven't seen CFM picks this week. Usually they're out Monday, but haven't seen anything. Maybe I overlooked them. A little bump in the road last week, but I think his picks were well thought out. It was just one of those days. His overall record is still awesome, and his write-ups and analysis are the best on the forum. |
