Back in August I took Wisconsin over 8.5 RSW. New coach, new QB, new OC. Really did my homework, looked at the schedule closely, thought they would be good for 9, maybe 10 wins. Fast forward to today. Almost 10 pt. fav. over mighty Indiana, winner of two games over world beaters Indiana State and Akron. Why hedge I thought. I'll worry about hedging next week, or the week after, etc. After all, how can Wisky lose to Indiana, right? Final score Indiana 20, Wisconsin 14.
After watching a few of their games this season, honest to God, I don't think they could put the ball in the end zone if it were the Atlantic Ocean. I drank the Kool Aid also a few years ago when Nebraska hired Scott Frost. Months of hype, new players, coaches, playbook, etc. Is Fickell headed in the same direction or is it too early to tell?
Is anyone else a little surprised with Wisky this season?
