They have a STUD defense, incredible qb and receivers......... I watched tenn tech last week vs Kennesaw st (had $100 for fun) on espn3..... They have a freshman qb who is essentially a jv high school qb playing for them.... I dont see them SNIFFING the end zone on offense to be honest.....I see a 41-0 halftime score with a -16.5 2nd half.....69-0 Utah st , this is a blowout of the week
I'm in someones nightmare and its bad. |

Too much protesting about whats wrong with the USA and not enough understanding by our citizens. Stand on the corner of any city and watch how people ignore each other. Our young folks have not been educated in how to show class. Where does politics fit in with any sporting event? I love football but it has become so politically corrupt. Jones has not lived in my world but he does live in the USA. Lets play football and enjoy the competitive nature in all of us. The play on tonights game Imho is over the total of 44 1/2. |

Its difficult to go into someones backyard and throw a whipping on em for second time in one season. With that being said, AU will probably need to play at a higher level than at any time this year. The biggest question going into saturdays game is at what level AU RB Johnson is going to be able to perform. Stidham is playing his best Football of the year right now and in order for him to continue his level of play depends on the play of the running game. AU Defense should continue to play well and keep the GA Offense from scoring too many points.
The difference in my opinion to who wins this game could come down to the leg of Carlson and with the game being played indoors any where inside of 55 yds could be potential points for AU. AU wins this game in a much closer game than 3 weeks ago if Johnson is at 100%. If you wager on this game wait till almost game time to place your bet. On Saturday the Eagle will soar, but how high we'll just have to wait and see. Good Luck and God Bless the USA |

AU not being able to run the ball without Pettway? I've been misled by fake news. I've been told that AU is averaging over 260 ypg running the ball. That has to be fake stats because Pettway hasn't played much at all this year. Johnson could not have been averaging over 100 yds per game and I must have dreamed he was voted SEC player of the week. Dang, all this fake news is confusing. We all need to thank the General for setting the record straight. With all that being said, I think AU covers, maybe LSU covers or in a dream world they tie. Whatever the outcome fake news will not be able to change the outcome, or can they? GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!!!!

The early AU/Mizzou line is 17.5. After I watched AU play this weekend I'm not sure AU can score 17 points. For them to have the kind of "Talent" they have and not come close to playing up to their
potential is a shame. Problems on the Plains!! Clemson has reloaded Bama, well is just typical Bama Okie has probably the #1 QB in College FB OSU may have the best receiving corp These could be the 4 top rated teams that make the playoffs Alot of teams have a good Offense and a lot of teams play good D But only a handful of teams play good on both sides of the ball. Of course this is just my humble opinion and we're just starting to get some idea of what teams may have a chance to make it to the playoffs YTD 2-2 LW 0-1 Tenn +5.5 |

As stated AU's OL sucks. As far as the QB being awful, they should look up his athletic history. He's a thoroughbred. If he is given time to throw the ball and not run for his life you will see the AU offense click.
With all that being said, my first pick of the week will be Tenn +5. So far season standings 2 and 1 ODU- W AU UNDER-W OK/OSU OVER-L |

Laroja, I beg to differ with you but the fact is Stidam has had to run for his life against both Ga Sou and Clemson in AU's first 2 games. AU's OL needs a lot of work

Newbie on this site. Auburns O Line did not impress me to say the least. Stidham did not impress me but this was the first competitive game he has played in a couple of years and will probably become much better with each game. If he has to run for his life sitting in the pocket looking for a receiver it will be a long season for the AU family.
On the other side of the ball the defense looked very impressive and could easily control the field of play. D Line and D Backs are not afraid to hit someone and are very aggressive. I'm not confident in either one of the Tigers that there will be many points put on the Scoreboard. Clemson also has a new QB to go along with a veteran defense. With this being said I think the smart play in this game is to play under the total of 53.5. |
