Punters, Kickers, Turnovers.........Keys to the game
How will Clayton Thorson react? Can Justin Jackson be effective running the ball? Can NU force turnovers? Why is the line -7.5? Betting with my head. NU on the road, Frosh QB, Michigan D dominant Michigan 20, NU 6 Betting with my heart: NU Defense, NU O does just enough NU 19 Michigan 13

If i get it I want it over one score or doesn't feel like any value would be there. Anyway, if i pull the trigger its a homer for me too, grew up a mile from NU. '95 made me love this game. @Bridge1 You can always tell a Northwestern fan because they use NU vs NW. I know a lot about that 1995 team. I'll be back next weekend for the 20 yr reunion vs Iowa.

Do you think the spread will move up or down?
Currently @ -8 Michigan.

Call me a homer but I like the Cats +8. Looking forward to seeing the Over/Under.
Where do you see this # going before kickoff? My guess would be Michigan -6.5 and O/U @ 36.5

NU is banged up too. Missing starting left tackle and best blocking tight end. Look to see if #16 is back (Godwin Igbunke sp?) He left last week with concussion. He is a big time playmaker.

Ouch.....another 1 and 2 week.
Lesson learned: ND D is legit. ND QB looked solid too. WTH....never would have guessed Stanford would be so explosive on O against USC. They looked lethagic and slow against NU. I think NU's D had a lot to do with slowing down Stanford. 5-3 on season.

ped16:
Congrats on the NU win. I doubted the Cats on the road. NU's D is legit. NU O only 57 total yards in 1st half. They are -18 this week against Ball St.

I never bet against Northwestern but I think Duke is the pick this week.
I'd rather get Duke at -2.5 instead of -3.5. I see Duke winning by 10+. But you never know. NU's D could create turnovers thus giving NU short field position. Duke seems superior in special teams too.

All chalk this week after 6 dogs to start the season.
Navy - 2 weeks to prepare, great option QB, and ECU coming off Florida G Tech - roll with the explosive offense and ND starting backup QB. 1st start at home. He will throw a pick or 2. USC - more of a fade against Stanford. I see USC by 14+.
