just curious as to why you seemed to like them so much? bc of stanton and morrison being back? They had a bum on the hill against a team thats decent at hitting the ball - and you weren't getting much more than even money on the wager..?
again, just curious as to your reasoning/confidence. gl |

Driving in and around NYC, I feel like I can't go a day of driving without at least flipping someone the bird. A couple times it's gotten almost to the point where I thought myself and another guy (who probably cut me off) would end up pulling over and throwing down. There's just something that really gets at me when someone drives like a piece of s.hit.
I do have one story tho, from when I was 16 (just started driving). I was heading back to school from lunch break when I stop at a 4-way stop sign. I clearly stop well before the car to the left of me gets to his stop sign, and proceed to drive straight. All of a sudden I see in my rearview that this guy pulls a sharp left in his pickup and floor it towards me. He flies by me, slams the break and jumps out of his truck. I recognize the guy as a trainer from the gym my baseball team worked out at; but anyway - he comes to my car window yelling all this shit at me, saying I cut him off and putting his hands in my face through my window. I didn't get out of the car but said something to the effect of "get your f'in hands out of my face".. which set him off and he opened my car door to pull me out. At that point I realized this guy was nuts and could probably kill me on the spot and I floored the gas, flying down the street and barely missing his truck. Turns out he was a roided out d-bag and he was probably raging out on me. I ended up telling my pops and my uncle (who's a hell's angel) about it a week or so later and they were not happy - went as far as going to the gym w/ me to call the guy outside and basically make him shit his pants in front of everybody. obviously I wish at that time I could've handled it myself - but seeing him squirm like a little puzzy was well worth it. Sorry for the long post... anybody else have any interesting/funny road rage stories? |

i got mets 95-1 (now 105-1..) for 200 to win 19k. Very solid rotation and if they stay healthy i can absolutely see them staying in the wc chase. studs wheeler and d'arnaud ready to come up at any point. wilpons claim to have their financials back in order so I can see them going after a big bat (Ellsbury?..) at some point in the season to make them a legit contender. Lets go Mets
