Why is the TCU at Virginia line so low? Only -11 over a team that lost to a Division 1-AA team last week? There's something real fishy about this line. I was just wondering if anyone knew something I didn't.

Two words on why TCU will not tear apart Boise State. Get ready for this.
CHRIS PETERSON
Enough said. If you don't think so, go ask the Oklahoma Sooners. They were supposed to tear apart Boise State in the Fiesta Bowl two years ago, and we all saw how that played out.

Wow, turnovers are a bitch. And I got to hand it to that Louisville coaching staff. That isn't the same team I saw a few weeks ago. Hope I have better luck tomorrow night!!

HotRoute,
I'm usually a very humble person and can admit when I'm wrong. Last week I was completely wrong on UCLA. You called it for sure. I like all of your picks except these three:
Colorado +3
Vandy +6.5
Troy +21
As for my reasoning, I just feel a huge game coming on from Pat White and Noel Devine. I think its a great SEC matchup between Vandy and Ole Miss. Whoever has the ball last gets the cover here. As for Troy, I'm feeling Ohio State is going to want and needs to win this game by 4TD's or more to get some style points for later BCS rankings. I think Pryor runs all over a Troy team that allows a ton of points to BCS teams on the road.
Shed some light on me, talk me out of taking these. I should have listened last week.

Adding:
BYU -29.5 vs. Wyoming
They made a believer out of me last week and after doing a little research, I believe they win by 35+ this week.

Yeah, your cool! Anyway, the line on my team last year was in the Florida game was 11.5 in Florida's favor. I took the moneyline and won a decent amout. Last week, I bet against my team and won again. It's all about knowing your team, sir. I will be taking the moneyline again this week on Auburn. There is going to be some things this week out of Auburn that Auburn Hasn't done thus far this year. You're going to be suprised.
As for saying that someone should be banned for having the name of their school in their name or having a school pic in their avatar, you're kind of going against about 60% of the people on this site. I'd say your outnumbered so keep comments like that to yourself!!

No problem. I still want to know why you like the opposite.

No, I've played every game there is to play sir. I just believe that either you're good or you're not. Period!! There's a reason that everything happens. All too often, people just attribute it to luck.
Instead of mocking my ideals, why don't you give me the reason that you like the exact opposite of all my picks?? |

Even though I don't belive in luck, Good luck! You're going to need it!!

Here's my picks for Week 4 NCAAF thus far:
Kansas St. -4 @ Louisville
WV -3 @ Colorado
WF +6.5 @ FSU
Auburn +2.5 vs. LSU
I'm still contemplating these:
I'm thinking I'm going to fade the public on Ole Miss -6.5 vs. Vandy and VT +3 @ UNC and Ohio St. -21 vs. Troy
Northwestern -10.5 vs. OhioU
Ball St. +3.5 @ Indiana
Buffalo +34.5 @ Mizzou
Florida Atl. +7 @ Minnesota
Akron -10.5 @ Army

This is by far the most untrue sh*t of a post I've ever read. If Auburn is so bad(which it isnn idiot.'t), then why don't you just keep your dumb LSU a** at home and watch the game on your own television!! Pardon the language, but seriously, you're an idiot!!

I just don't buy into overlooking a team by looking forward to the next team/game. Why would the team and coaches spend so much time prepping for a game, putting in a game plan, just to get to game time and completely overlook a team.
My opinion is that 'overlooking a team and looking forward to the next' is just a sorry excuse for we played like crap. And if a coach makes this statement, that just tells me that he is a poor coach. Who knows, maybe BYU will suprise me, but I just don't think that they are 7-9 points better than UCLA.
Best of luck to you anyway!!

These are good points but part of that 8-3 against the spread includes 0-2 ATS vs. UCLA and the other was last week against Washington. And sure they covered those spreads in double digits and are 13-0 straight up, but who did they play? A bunch Mountain West teams, big deal. Their only quality win was in the bowl game last year vs. UCLA which they only won by 1 point. You do have a good point about Craft being young, but I look for the UCLA defense to step it up another notch to help out their QB. I guess I just believe more in Rick Neuheisel than I do in BYU. |

hotroute,
I'm trying to put together why you like BYU so much. I just can't put it together.
You're arguement was that this line is 'a reflection of UCLA's win over Tennessee.' Did you expect this line to be higher?? I can't seem to make sense of that comment.
And why are you relying on the UCLA/Tenn game to make your judgement of how this game will play out? I can't seem to make sense of that either. Maybe you didn't have your TV on this past weekend when BYU almost lost to a not-so-good Washington team. Some would argue that BYU got a favorable unsportsmanlike conduct call that helped them to win this game.
Please fill me in on these.
All I can tell you is this. These two teams played each other last year twice. The first time, during the regular season, UCLA beat BYU 27-17. The second time, in the bowl game, BYU squeaked it out winning 17-16. Both times UCLA covered the spread. Here's what I draw from this. Both teams are basically the same as they were last year. The main difference is UCLA has Neuheisel, who is an inspiration to the entire UCLA football program. I just don't see any way that this game isn't a very close one and I think UCLA comes away with the victory.

rubble,
I like all your picks for the most part. The only one I don't like is Vandy. I'm just no really sure about that one so I'm laying off. I was wondering, though, why you don't have:
Arizona St. -22.5 vs. UNLV

rubble,
As was true last week, we have basically the same picks.
I was wanting to get your thoughts on:
Arizona St. -22.5 vs. UNLV
and
Arizona -10 at New Mexico
Arizona St. played a similiar game last week against Stanford and blew them out. I expect to see the same this week against UNLV, who got blown out last week against Utah and lost by 10 to Utah St. in week 1.
As for Arizona, 70-0 in week 1 vs. Idaho and 41-16 last week against Toledo. I see this game finishing somewhere inbetween those two games. Maybe 56-10. After all, New Mexico has already been beat 26-0 by TCU and lost to Texas A&M last week.

jp 1 lsu,
How can you possibly say that this game went exactly the way Saban wanted??? You are telling me that Saban only wanted his team to score one offensive touchdown. Thats ludacris!! You are out of your mind!!
