dl I couldn't agree with you more. Both sides are on the take. I just get tired of the dems saying that they are for the middle class. Just not true. The facts are there for anyone that wants to take off the rose colored glasses. I already know the repubs could care less. I just don't think they try to hide it.
Like I said before, the perks seem to land with the rich and poor. Doesn't matter who is in office. This election changes nothing. You still might as well bend over if you are middle class.
Everyone is lying... and the problem is that partisan lemmings on both sides believe it as truth... and while everyone is too busy picking pepsi vs coke the rich get richer...
guys like callaham and don juan not only believe what they are told but try to convince others it is true....
luckily the chances of people mindless following them are slim to none

I have been saying what you are saying for years. They got us just where they want us. Fighting amongst each other. That is one reason both sides don't want to see a third party. It would wreck the beautiful thing they have going.

Im actually not sure about what he posted about dems being more educated and making more money...
my thinking is that actual dems are lower in number nationally... especially when you consider how well foxnews does in comparison to msnbc...
the reason dems lost this time around is because minority and youth vote did not show up like they did in 2008/2012.... mainly because they were not pro-democrat, but pro-obama... so although those voters came out to voted for other races they were really there to vote for obama and could care less about the elections that he was not in... that is why 2010 and 2014 would see less of the pro-obama crowd and show that real dems are less in numbers than the GOPs...
I also think that alot of the people who voted for obama and dems did not vote for them based on what the dems had to offer but simply against the GOP/bush/palin/iraqwar/realestate collapse/no regulation/social conservative nazi characteristics the GOP had become...
So when the GOP that people didnt know what they were voting for with obama was probably true... but not because they believed what he said and his ability to give hope and speeches, but simply that they were voting contrary to GOPs and what they represented at that time...
So the reality is that educated dems probably did show up, but since there are so few dems and even fewer educated people in the usa now a days they lost with out the support of the minority/youth crowd that is pro-obama...
in my personal experience most GOPs I know are college educated...but most people with advanced degrees of masters or doctorates that work in the fields of sciences, medicine, math are democrat... there are always exceptions to the rule, but for the most part that is the pattern...
but as we have seen with this thread... there are always idiots like callaham regardless of side

As a non-partisan independent that is music to my ears...
I was actually hoping that orman would win in kansas because he is an independent that had given no indication of who he would caucus with...
and then when asked I hoped that we would say he would caucus with neither, but if anyone wanted to caucus with him and start and independent movement with enough people to be the decision makers over the two sided bickering and take over the nation and simply vote based on what the people they are representing wanted it would weaken the system...
sadly the money and lobbyist would then focus on this tie-breaker group and buy them out but it would take money and power away from the dem/gop machine...
but of course this is a dream that ONLY a Non-Partisan Independent like myself would root for...
While the partisan lemmings were busy rooting for their own party and taking cheap shots at the others...

If America wants competent governance they need to elect a GOP as president in 2016. Democrats win their elections by divide and conquer; like race baiting, gender, etc. The fracturing and infliction of damage the Democrats have down the past 6 years has been appalling.

Also, it is the wealthy that have benefited the most by Obama, and Median wages have stagnated and declined for the rest of America. This information is indisputable.
This is to be expected of a politician like Obama where its "pay to play"; very corrupt

It is a fct that republican states overwhelmingly have the highest % of people on welfare and taking free handouts.
So the point from the original poster is just flat out
That could very well be, but you can not say that more Republicans are welfare recipients. There is no data for that, if there is maybe you could share it. There are also demographic issues in the south that skew the numbers.
Saying that Republicans take more welfare is about as honest as saying Obama is responsible for Ebola because 100% of Ebola cases in America have happened under Obama.
