"Why did we become blind, I don't know, perhaps one day we'll find out, Do you want me to tell you what I think, Yes, do. I don't think we did go blind, I think we are blind, Blind but seeing, Blind people who can see, but do not see."

it's been up and down. started out about 2-14 and came back and it's been back and forth. had a nice run going until i got shrimped by the orioles last night. the pendulum might be swinging the other way now.

#40Posted: 7/23/2012 11:23:05 AM @ doliver = Josh Johnson is one of my favorite bounce back @ HOME pitchers in the Bigs. If the Marlins were playing better ball, then this play would be much larger. And I'm a little bent that it's not - but I have to stick to my guns on my wagering. I circle up every home start AFTER a home start in which JJ loses. And its quite clear that the linesmakers have thrown in the towel on JJ this year...
BUT - did you know that JJ has NEVER loss back-to-back home starts in his career... and the Marlins as a team have only lost ONCE in JJ home starts after he lost a game.
YepYup - since 2008, Josh Johnson has never had back-to-back losing home starts, and only once (2009) did the Marlins lose back-to-back home starts by JJ.
JJ is a Beast @ Home after a loss - this, and the fact that the Monday Braves are just as poor offensively as the Sunday Rockies.
If the Marlins weren't averaging 1.4 runs their past 5 games, this would be a Big Boy play for me...

gilmo, if we can get that strong outing out of johnson, we should have strong advantages all the way through because the marlins bullpen has been great over the last couple of weeks. with the significant pitching edges, -120 to -125 is a good price here.
www.ClubDirtSports.com will be offline for the remainder of the week due to summer vacation. good luck.

badlands, i can't imagine what that oakland 4 game sweep did to people who run those chase systems, especially with the last game at -180 or whatever it was?
captain, this is a kids-free trip. the legoland extravaganza in november may need an extra chaperone/drinking partner though.

you're right but after a couple of drinks, it will all come back to me (actually, the wife is on this trip so it won't all come back to me, but some of it will).
