SUNDAY:
NY GIANTS +1 1/2
I learned a lesson backing the Falcons last week and won't make the same mistake twice. I don't think this team is as good as their record indicates. Especially after I looked at who their wins came from. The GMen on the other hand tend to shine late season and seems to be on that path again after destroying the Saints last week. The road team has covered 8 of the last 9 between these two and by judging the Birds last few performances I don't think I'll try to buck that trend today.
TAMPA BAY +4
The young Bucs continue to play hard losing their last 3 games by a combined 11 points while the Aints are done for the season. Question is will the Saints come to play? If they do they can win but I'm not so sure they can cover. The Bucs have covered 7 of the last 9 in New Orleans and still have a wildcard chance.
BALTIMORE +3
This line suprised me. Peyton will have some work to do if he's to overcome the stronghold the Ravens have had on the Broncs as of late. The Ravens own a 7-1 ats record the last 8 and 5 in a row in Baltimore. Denver comes from the AFC West. Thats important to note because the Ravens are 17-3 su their last 20 against the AFC West and I'm getting 3 points? As I said, this line suprised me.
PITTSBURGH -1
This boils down to a situational play for me. Pitt off a loss looking to get back on track against the Jekyl and Hyde Cowboys. Big Ben and Mike are solid off a DD loss winning and covering 11 of the last 13 chances and should get back on track against the Cowboys who are 0-6 ats at home this year.
