Curious what defenders on Zona your referring to that played in last matchup vs GB but will miss this week? I know Matheiu was out last game as he was hurt week before. Not aware of any other key guys, but haven't looked yet either.
Also, think you gotta be careful with the Steelers...that secondary is dreadful and I feel like they were saved by the rain last week as McCarron really struggled gripping the ball. Plus how will Ben be? He couldn't drive the ball downfield on that last drive...its one thing to use a bit of smoke n mirrors on one drive but it will be obvious to Denver defense throughout a whole game if he's not throwing well.

BB - As for Broncos, yes they've come a long way to get back to this point and they'll want to go all the way but I really think their offense is garbage. PITT is no scrub and should not be overlooked one bit. Advanced line was DEN -3. Also PITT advanced line shows +4 at NE next week, this line is inflated. Of course it has to be with the injuries but I expect Big Ben to play. Deangelo Williams is replaceable and Antonio Brown shouldn't warrant a move to +7, they have other threats.
Don't really play totals Train but gl. Too much is also being made about Maclin. Chiefs went an entire season without throwing a TD to a WR, they are a defense/run minded team anyway. I like Patriots to win a very close game here but not playing it.
Agreed Suuma, people will notice how bad Peyton is in this game. Their offense could possibly be more vanilla even despite all of PITT's injuries. PITT will play very close to the line of scrimmage here with an aggressive defense
Thedrill - Arizona is missing Matthieu, Okafor, and Redding on defense

Hey LC, just read that pitt averages 1.6 yards per play when Antonio Brown is out...that may warrant the big swing from +3 to +7(as well as Big Bens injury)
Also, it's the first time since 1970(519 playoff games) that a team is playing w/ out their leading rusher and leading WR.
(assuming antonio is out)
My personal cap has Denver winning by 2.43, and that's w/ out Pitt QBR and injury status...tough to incorporate pts for those 2 injuries as of now.

BOL, great discussions on your last few threads
Brown has missed 3 games in the last 80 games. Not much of a sample size to go from

There isn't one person that thinks the Steelers can win straight up in this game which amazes me knowing how much playoff success they've had. Antonio Brown said earlier today he's feeling better but needs another night's rest before giving it a shot in practice tomorrow.
Ben returned to practice today although just to handoff without any throwing.

Peyton is going to be dialed in. This could very well be his last playoff run. You can bet he's had everyone on their toes at the Broncos' facilities the past couple weeks. I think the entire playbook is going to be available in this game, especially the no huddle/hurry up offense. Peyton's cadence/snap count is going to keep Pittsburgh at least a little off balance, something they haven't had to deal the last several weeks facing inexperienced QBs.
Combine that with the physicality of the Cincy game, all the extracurricular activity/distractions, travel, and injuries that Pittsburgh has endured, I really like the Broncos in this one.

This is terrible thinking but one that the general consensus has. Just because it's someone's last playoff run, doesn't mean they will be better or more focused than any of their other playoff runs. Everyone is always at their best in the playoffs. It's not like he didn't compete during the other runs. Let's see how this offense moves the ball on Sunday.

On another note, Carolina down to -1
You're absolutely correct. That's not my reasoning for taking Denver. I think it's going to be the narrative after this game is played. I believe the factors that play into that are the current state of each team. A battered, road weary Steeler team coming into the altitude of Denver to take on a well rested Bronco team. I saw enough of Peyton in the Charger game to conclude that he's as close to healthy as you can hope for. You could tell every single person on that Bronco sideline knew he was good to go. You could see every player on that team got a boost when their unquestioned leader was back on the field. The sheriff is back in town, at least for one more week.

Not to mention that Big Ben's limited arm strength takes away the Steelers' biggest threat, their vertical passing game.
Couple that with the Broncos' league leading 52 sacks and 113 defensive hurries. We are one hit away from Landry Jones time. He'll be wishing he was back in Norman.
How does Pittsburgh keep this game close? It's gonna be tough.

Antonio brown ruled out but still love the steelers here. Him being out won't affect how the Broncos will move the ball on offense. Sucks I got +7 but should be good enough as long as Big Ben is out there

Surprised to see you on Seattle capper. As a Carolina fan I feel I should chime in and give my two cents. Too much is being made of seattles defense in my opinion, look at the last 6 games or so. They beat Blaine Gabbert, Teddy Bridgewater(2x), Johnny Manziel, Jimmy Clausen, and the only credible QB in Carson Palmer. The Vikings did everything they needed to to win that game, they marched down the field in their last possession and seattles D couldn't stop them when it counted. Carolina beat Seattle in Seattle earlier this year and that was before their offense started even clicking! I fully believe Carolina takes care of business, Cam is the MVP. He's not some career backup QB that they can just walk all over, it won't be that easy. Definitely like the steelers as hard as it is to put my money on them with all these injuries but crazier things have happened. Good luck bud!

It happens all the time in sports. The out of bounds that wasn't called or the foul that wasn't called always results in a 3 by the other team. Minny had there chance to end the Hawks season. Now everyone will pay. I locked in Seattle at +2.5 a few days ago

Broncos have won one game by more than 7 points....
but at same time i just don't knowhow the Steelers offense will do without AB and D Will... the defense can't carry the load for 60 min in the Mile High can they?

love the insight and SEA pick. public is all over a 15-1 CAR team and the line has dropped all the way to -1, just begging for more CAR action. I'll take the sharp side

Where are you seeing that Carolina had dead last SOS? I'm on Seattle for Sunday , but I'm curious what site you see that on. ESPN and team rankings say the jets and Falcons.
