Worst case scenario for me would be the Cavs cover the game. A full game bettor lays the first every quarter bet by abandoning the winning full game spread for the first time in a decade.. I will lose it if it happens.

DO NOT LOSE IT. WE NEED YOU NOW. WE CAN"T FIGHT ALONE AGAINST THE MONSTER.
All the tremendous plays you've posted here in Covers, really well-thought-out plays and words, too they far outweigh this one play you've made in this crazy, and I mean goofy nba season.

watched the line go from GS -.05 to even to CAVS -.05 . I didnt like the line movement and went with the over. Awesome game though! Move on to the next.

Thanks Pendo. 39 points in the 1st. The third straight game they blasted them.
I don't know if it's because Tristan dates a Kardashian or what but that defensive performance is abhorrent.
Sports- didn't expect it but ya have to swallow it when you pass up a full game bet like I did (which thankfully lost but the thinnest of margins).

Scal, I think Warriors win this game and the 1st quarter is the way to go. The Cavs needed a couple of miracles to come back and win last year (I am talking Green suspension and Bogut injury) against a gimpy Curry, no way they do it this time. Losing game 6 was very painful last year (if you recall) and then they lost a close one in the regular season. The Cavs made history against the Warriors last year, and the Warriors will make history this year as they go undefeated: 16-0
But I am not watching these games. As I told you when the Warriors got Durant, this not interesting or exciting for me. Might as well watch reruns of the Globetrotters and Generals!
BTW, the only Warrior home playoff game (or any playoff game) this year where they did not win by more than 4 was the game I bet on. Nice, eh? How is that for luck?
You said they'd cover the game BB. Can't believe you aren't posting. Finals with your team don't come along often!

Scal, did you hear Durant post-game? He emphasized they were honed in on that 1st quarter, that they studied the tape from what happened last year and knew the 1st quarter was everything. In a way that 1st quarter was a perfect microcosm of the game. With 2 minutes left it was a toss up; then the superior team flexed its muscle.
Sad to see BB's inability to watch/enjoy the finals as well. As a huge fan of premier league football where parity is not some top shelf idealized goal, the casual fan is invited to witness greatness. We celebrate Wenger's "Invincibles" team (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Invincibles_(football)) despite perhaps a lack of adversity. In England you might be called a purist. You support a mediocre team but you turn up to see a big team climb to new heights, and appreciate it.
Right now there's so much moaning about competitive parity IMO. Last night was fun. And after Friday night, we might realize we've seen something that's never been done before. We may be witnessing the best NBA basketball team in history. If you can't appreciate that, well you're choosing to miss out.

I did not by my goodness, what a death knell for my bet! Good info. I know some here (Pargo) said they'd have more focus in Game 3 because of the previous two years and that certainly was the case. Which is why I backed off the game line. But even the quarter and half were dead too.

Dam scal, lebron defending champion and best player in the world is an underdog at home, don't fall for that bull, you're better than that. We look up to your intellect

Fade, I don't care about competitive balance per se. The Bulls won 6 titles but they were all compelling because the Bulls were Michael's team, with Pippen as sidekick. They had an identity with their stars and only the role players changed. Ditto for Lakers with Magic, Kareem and Worthy, Celtics with Bird, McHale and Parish, Lakers with Shaq and Kobe. But what we have with the Warriors is an absolute tragedy for basketball fans. The Warriors were good enough to win titles without Durant, in much more compelling fashion. Adding Durant is like Jordan's Bulls picking up Karl Malone, or the Magic's Lakers picking up Isiah Thomas, or the Bird's Celtics picking up Hakeem the dream, or the Kobe/Shaq Lakers adding Iverson. What the Warriors did, by adding Durant, is turn their team into the Globetrotters and the rest of the league into the Washington Generals. Seriously, if you like what you are watching right now, or this is compelling to you, just go watch reruns of Globetrotters and Generals for the rest of your life. See how you like it:)
