Atlanta Hawks -5.0
Hawks have guard problems in their rotation but I still fancy them over the Nets. I know it's early in the season but IMO, fatigue can still get the players. I'm going ahead and make use of back to back as a reason to go against the Nets. All three big contributors for their win over the Wizards went on to register almost 36+ minutes and they should feel it against a Hawks team that will frustrate you with their pace and defense. Not really crazy with this play as Jersey actually can take the fight to the supposedly better Hawks team. They did split last season 2-2 with the home team getting away with the win and cover.
Miami Heat
Okay this one should be tricky. If the spread is anywhere above 8.5-points, I seriously will give the Celtics a shot to cover. Boston is the only other team who can dictate Miami the tempo of the game and they still play really good defense with or without Pierce. Anything below 6.5 is a play on Miami, anything in between is most likely a pass.
Minnesota Timberwolves +6.0
Both teams playing back to back and both off a narrow loss. T'Wolves battled a fast paced game with the minutes spread around evenly (except for Beasley and Love). Bucks' starters logged heavy minutes and had to grind it out against Charlotte. I'm looking at possibly a close game here with the points coming in handy. They did had a good run at each other during the preseason and I'm basing this play majorly on that one.
Sacramento Kings +8.0
This is another match up where both teams are playing back to back games. I don't know why the line is set so high but with the way the Kings played against the Lakers tonight, they should have enough confidence to come out and firing again in this game. Kings cancels out the Blazers' front court with their size and IMO Kings boast in guard play with all 3 guards in their starting 5 able to score. This should be another high scoring affair that gives the visiting team an even better advantage if they tempo came to their favor.
Utah Jazz +4.5
Lakers playing the first back-to-back-to-back of the season with their core guys logging almost 60+ minutes of game time the last 2 games. Kobe has been shouldering the offense so far this season getting little help outside their first 6 guys. I'm seeing a game where both teams have to grind it out. I'm looking at the Jazz team and I noticed that they do not have any real perimeter threat. Lakers will have an easier time defending with their size. Let's see if it will be profitable fading teams in such bad spots as this one. Kobe will most likely make this interesting and probably score 25+ points.
