This isnt a GOY or anything, just the best "spot" I have seen this young season. Take it for what it is.
Rocks havent lost at home this year (small sample size, I know). They are batting .286 (tops in NL). Chacin is 2-0 with a 1.96 era, and righties are only batting .143 vs him, while lefties are hitting a very good .296.....
Colorado actually got 2 days off this week (monday and wednesday) due to weather. They did play a double header tuesday, but got to play an early game thursday, so they should be well rested.....
Zona, on the otherhand, has played 7 games in the last 8 days and 16 in 19. They just had a 12 inning game and won vs the "mighty yanks". Letdown? Possibly. What time do you think their plane will touch down in Denver? What time will they get up? 1st game in altitude. This after flying from LA to NY just 3 days ago. Thats a lot of flying in a short time.
DBacks hitting decent .262 this year, and Kennedy takes the bump with his 5.79 era (1-1). Lefties are hitting .345 and righties .273, so I see no reason Colorado doesnt get its fair share of opportunities....
Gametime temp should be right around 40 degrees, and drop a few degrees during the game (not to mention a slight wind chill). Chilliest game of the year by quite a bit for the DBacks.
Ive been wrong many times, and friday may be another on that list. Such is gambling. I can live with whatever happens, even if that means losing 10 units. Gotta take a stab every once and awhile, its just how I am.

In baseball, the games/days angle is more about staying focused doing your job. Add a couple cross country flights and you have a tiny addition to a larger piece of angle pie.

Interesting, this could be a bad day to ride with Col. Az won in extra innings and won big this should carry a lot of confidence and momentum with it. They have to go from NY to Colorado get a quick night sleep and then be excited to get to the stadium. Col also won but they have been doing so against subpar teams and they may find themselves a little over confident against a great road team. Just some thoughts
