I've followed you for quite some time and appreciate the time and effort you put into capping. Thank you for posting your spreadsheets and insight to the games. Do you cap NCAA football too? Do you know anyone I can read up on that can provide the same insights but for NCAA fb? I saw you answer this question for another covers member but can't seem to find that post on who you thought was good to follow. Thank you.

BigEastExpert is the best NCAAF capper on Covers in my humble opinion.
I also pay very close attention to when RUSH posts as well as what estes1717 has to say about SEC football games.
Football is much less 'stats' driven than the other major sports (due to limited sample size of games and frequency of injuries) so it's harder to design models to predict the outcome. However, I will be publishing my power rankings and other data organization tools during this season to help with the handicapping process. I've struggled to turn a profit the last few years during regular season college football, however the NFL has been more kind to me. I will be participating in both forums, although, the bulk of my time will be spent on the NFL.

Si1ly, the juice for Mil Brewer is so high, what do you think about Brewer RL?
I usually don't pay prices this high to partake in the moneyline, but I felt the run line was a bad investment for some reason. I felt more comfortable laying the juice. But do what fits your risk profile the best, I see the Brewers winning this game more than 2 out of every 3 times.

In regards to football -- a few stats worth noting once the season is a few games in (5-8 games imo):
3rd down conversion %
red zone conversion %
If you have a team that can move the sticks and score in the red zone better than their opposition, they should win the game.

Why Mil Brewer rather then Washington for the same price? Mil Brewers with Gallardo pitching won 3-2.2-1 and lost 10-0 against the cubs. But Strasburg for wasington won 4-1 , 4-0,and 3-2. He has given up o runs in 18 innings pitching to Miami. I admire your Picks and your statistics and I hope top learn from you and other members on this site. I was just wondering since both prices are -170 on my book, why you chose the Brewers over Washington? I parlayed Brewers Washington by the way,I hope we both win. :)

Familiarity factor and strength of the current offenses tilted the scale in Milwaukee's favor. I project them with a higher probabilty to win than Washington. Although, I think Washington has a good chance as well. A lot of parlays will include WAS, DET, NYY, SFG and I feel one or more of these will likely lose. I thought Milwaukee was flying under the radar a bit in light of the other heavy favorites. Had there been fewer aces on the card, I bet oddsmakers would have lined Milwaukee as one of the highest favorites. Of course they couldn't tip their hand with names like Verlander, Strasberg and Cain ahead of Gallardo.
