Both teams have outstanding offensive units, but the one difference between Central Michigan and Troy has come on the defensive side of the football. While the Chippewas have been solid throughout the season, the Trojans have plenty of holes that will likely be exploited by LeFevour and company.
Sports Network Predicted Outcome: Central Michigan 34, Troy 24

I don't know much about the Sun Belt Conferance, infact I don't think I have seen a full Sun Belt game all year. Looking over the schedule from Troy, they have giving up points to some very bad football teams. Would love to take CMU team total over, but the damn # is 33.5
I think vegas scheduled this game for the ncaa, so people are in chase mode for the Big game tommorow.

I live in Mobile and may brave the cold for this game. People in Mobile are not used to this cold got down to the teens last night. The weather favors the Chippewas but the crowd will be heavy on Troy. Troy is only a couple hours from Mobile. My initial lean was Troy when the line opened up but I have since switched to CMU based on the weather. I do think however people will be surprised with the abilities of Troy QB Levi Brown. He will be more desirable to Pro Scouts than LevFevour. CMU -2.5 and Under for now.

One more thing this game has always traditionally been a shoot out. I look for that trend possibly to break tonight and the game to go under due to the weather.

What will happen: This GMAC Bowl won’t suck. Both teams have strong offenses and there will be several big plays from both sides, but CMU’s defense will be better than Troy’s and the quarterbacks will be dead even. Brown and the special teams will also be a big difference with one big return, or three, setting up the Chippewas in key times. The CMU coaching situation won’t matter too much. Stripling will know how to keep the train running, and LeFevour runs the offense, anyway.

The two teams have one similar opponent. Troy opened its season by losing at Bowling Green 31-14, while Central Michigan won at Bowling Green 24-10 in MAC play.
The Sun Belt was widely regarded as the worst Division-I conference in the nation. Troy passed right through its league schedule, but did not fare well at all in its three non-conference games, all blowout losses.
Central Michigan, also went unbeaten in its conference, but also knocked off Michigan State 29-28 in non-conference play.

Im the first person to go against the public and or take the dogs. Its payed off all Bowl season as I am 9-3. I just dont see it here LeFevour should put on a show and although Troy has a decent offense (depending on who your comparing them to) I dont see them keeping up.
