what's going on fellas....appreciate the good words....honestly liking this week's card more than last...which probably means we'll go 6-8 and thousands will run for the exits...added a few during lunch...
Baylor -31 (-115)
So Carolina-Miss St under 44.5 (0.5)
Ball St +18 (0.35)
Middle Tenn +5 (0.35)
Baylor 58 SMU 17 - pretty unlikely SMU stops the Bears run or pass so that leaves how many points Bears are in the mood to allow against team capable of garbage time...ponies played well (1H anyway) at home in LY matchup 56-21 to get the cover...45-0 the year before in Waco so we'll split the difference
Miss St 20 SC 16 - neither offense looking so good last week...expecting defenses to have the advantage even though MSU pass defense wasn't good...SC lacks ability to exploit it
Indiana 41 Ball St 31 - scary taking Ball St with their pass defense stats from last year...expecting improvement on both sides...Hoosiers never known for defense with even if improved some this year....maybe...and no track record of blowing out teams.....number of wins by 20+ over two years...one (UNT by 25)...so give Cards a shot to hang around and maybe even an upset...although it's still BSU so keeping it small
MTSU 23 Vandy 20 - as noted last week, Dores double digit wins are pretty rare...blue raiders skill players enough to generate some points and defense is decent enough.....not looking so much different than LY 17-13 matchup other than not so great home field advantage
should probably do it for now other than possible degenerate teaser or total and a couple FCS later in the week, BOL all
updated week 2
Texas -26 (1.25)
Baylor -31 (-115)
Oklahoma St -19
Miami FL -21 (-115)
Boise St -11 (0.75)
Boston College -17 (0.75)
Ohio St -28 (-105) (0.75)
Penn St +6 (0.75)
UConn +7 (-115) (0.5)
VA Tech +10.5 (0.5)
So Carolina-Miss St under 44.5 (0.5)
Ball St +18 (0.35)
Middle Tenn +5 (0.35)

With you on the Chokies. I was eyeing the Blue Raisers in this spot before the season started, but was hoping for a line north of 7. Still a solid play.

what's going on fellas....appreciate the good words and from some great old school cappers themselves....checking out a couple other games and FBS-FCS on Sat morning to wrap things up and looking at week 3 matchups....fairly balanced first couple weeks on chalk/dogs but first look at next week mostly chalk looking at 8-10 and 3-4 dogs although could change depending on week 2 performances that tend to move the expected number quite a bit in the early weeks, back Sat morning to wrap up this week's card
