CMU was giving UNI a pretty good run for the money until the fourth quarter of that game. They should have only lost by 14 but UNI opted not to take a "gentlemanly knee with 1:36 to go in the game" and run out the clock... But instead punched in a Run up the score TD to make the score look a lot worse then it really was. CMU hung tough. I am not joking when I say if Ball takes them lightly they will lose SU.

Nice write up; Ball st has to b looking forward to NIU next week & a win in this game for CMU is worth all the losses they have endured. The dog & under in a teaser is my play.

I got Ball by at least 18 points. Factor in they are playing at home and they are also ahead of them in special teams and TO over margin plus a very legit passing offense. The line comes out to be a pretty fair. I'm leaning towards Ball.

Fumbles interceptions and punt blocks are part of the game... Unfortunately so is the fourth quarter until the clock hit 0:00.
I don't have the stats in front of me but Ball is very high ranked in the category of forced fumbles.
M15525 by all means I am not taking shots at you and I appreciate the time you invested in your write up, however you cannot take a team lightly who has similar numbers and a bye week to study you. Also out of the last 45 times these two teams have played. The recorded is even at 22-22-1. They are rivals. This games not only for bragging rights (CMU) but a good comparison against a team NIU has already beat. No ones holding anything back. And the NIU game is only special if Ball goes there undefeated in the MAC.

If had to play the total it would be under the 56.5 (or higher, I see some 57.5.) I don't see a lot of second half scoring. number is pumped up a bit, my math says it should be 53. They obviously opened higher since the public always hits the over in all ways possible, over, tz w/over, parlay w/over etc.... Though it doesn't get a lot of hype... 56 is a key number for me. The difference between 56.5 and 55.5 is huge to me. Since 56 is exactly 8 tds, but that 1/2 point (at 56.5) would potentially mean a team would need a whole extra scoring drive to get you an over after 8tds. In a game like tonight . That necessary time could be ground up fourt qtr tha ends in a 2 min kneel down. So 56 is a tough call, especially if one team is expected to have a big lead and may want to sit on the ball late. A little different if te game lie is short, like -2.5 or something were if the game is as close as expected, there may be scoring by either team down to the final seconds or even ot

OxKing... Yes, but I am looking for consistency...of course every team makes mistakes, that's why I don't win every bet. But what I do know is that when you look at a final score like 38-17.... I like to investigate how it got to be that way, was it close or a blow out the whole way?... Was it just great play by one team, bad playing by the other, just in characteristic mistakes, etc... What I took form the NI game, was that CMU gave them a way better fight then the final score indicated.... So I know CMU played better then the score indicated. I then apply that to the future of CMU games based on a team that at quick glancé looks like they never competed last time out... But in reality the opposite is true. This type of logic is why the lazy public loses and the select few who do research and know what the real lies should be can win (or be banned by most books because they win too much and are labeled "pros.")
