cherokee.. i dont get some of u guys on here when u say comments like the one above.. how is any teaser pointless..as long as u put a reasonable amount and love the plays theres never no just thing as pointless. in the sportsbetting bussiness, u can lose by 10 points and u can lose by a half a point.. teasers are agreat way to avoid backdoors and put the line to ur advantage.. u must be a rookie to not know that every point counts buddy. every single half point makes a huuuge difference whether a small or big spread so u make no sense

1. Week 1, with a teaser against cupcakes doesn't make sense to me....the large fave (esp in week 1) will crush them, and you won't even need the extra points in the first place.
2. You'll never have a 4-5 team teaser where you needed those extra points in EVERY game. If it happens, good call, but most of the time....they cover ats anyway.
3. Tease down from key numbers.... -13.5/-14, -9.5/-10, etc..

Yep, I'm the rookie here. That's why you see me create 3-4 threads a day, asking for help and not even attempting to cap ANY games yourself.
You pulled this shit last year, and here you are again.
You want advice, myself and other cappers will give it to you. But be prepared to take the advice and not be a dick about it.

Cherokee is right. Now, that doesnt mean you have bad plays, and thats not what hes saying. He is saying that taking a spread from 37 down to 30 has less effect on the outcome as say taking Mich St from 7 to 0 or UCLA from 15.5 down to 8.5 .
Of course Stanford -18 is better than 25, but personally I would tease that number up to 32 for SJST. Most people use favorites in teasers, but real value can be found if you put the dogs you like in there. GT +14.5 and UNLV +15 look very nice.....
Does that make sense?
