Because I don't see how this isn't a fabulous value. Wake has been playing great ball, especially at home. Now they get UVA, fresh off their hard-fought grind against FSU and without Anderson, and with a week to prepare. It was just a couple of games ago that Wake only lost by 1 to UVA in Charlottesville.
I absolutely love this game, and don't see why it shouldn't be my POY. Please help me understand the other side if anyone is leaning that way. Thanks!

I've been lurking and waiting for someone to comment on this game... I watched the first match-up and I've been looking forward to this spot.. Especially with Perrantes questionable and Anderson out. Perrantes most likely plays, but hell, he won't be 100%.. Wake has had 8 days to prepare..
Even more, last time Virginia won @ Wake? 2000......

I watched Virginia against Florida State, damn did they struggle to put up any points.. WF will give it all they got for this game, its a good look... Goodluck

Not to mention, UVA is 0-10 last 10 at WAKE! I was gonna stay away, but I don't think I can. GL!!
Why stay away? That's what I'm asking? What reasonable answer is there for not loading up on this line? If it was 4, I would've paused, but 7-9 seems reasonable, and I think Wake may take this outright. But it is gambling, and as we all know, it could be a serious miscalculation.
I just want to hear from someone on the opposite side that makes good sense why I should lay off. Thanks.

OK you're looking for a devils advocate, I'll give it a shot.
You can consider this a revenge game for VA. Beating Wake at home by a point was embarrassing and probably felt like a loss in the pride category. Considering there's no let down spot here, no look ahead or huge win they're coming off of....this game will get their full focus. A lot of times you see these high ranked teams come into these crap teams stadiums and they're just in cruise control, but not here. I think it's safe to say that VA won't want to just win here, they're gonna want to put a beat down on Wake and prove that that 1 point game was a fluke. I'm sure Wake will have something to say about that, but I'm very confident we are gonna see a VA team working their arse off tonight.

Ok, I appreciate you stepping up with a sound evaluation. Problem is, even with London Perrantes the first game, there seemed to be matchup problems. Without him, and at Wake, don't you think their mindset is just winning the game and getting out? Revenge seems more applicable to a clear favorite that LOST the first game and who is now locked and loaded for the rematch..... not limping in with two starters out.

8 days off for a college team usually results in poor shooting, especially early. Tread lightly on any FH bets

Creighton shot it pretty well on the road last night..did they not? Albeit it was Depuke..but I believe they hadn't played in 7+ days? Not sure what their shooting % ended up being, but I know I saw a more than a few buckets made in the 1st half GL tonight..I like WF to win su tonight, fwiw...

Prov isn't even in the same league as nova...
ND played against the dreaded Cuse zone which is long, bothersome and at a slow it down pace...
OSU just doesn't really shoot it from the outside well, period.
No excuses though, creighton was just the first game that came to mind... I'm sure we could go back and forth for hours on this topic though Tonight is a new night and we'll see what WF does off a long rest....
