Romo says he could play right now if needed to
Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo says his rehab from back surgery is going so well that if he needed to, he could push himself through a game right now.
"I’m to a point where you can push it and kind of go, and I feel like at this point I could play in a game if I had to,” Romo said via the team website Monday.
So it sounds like Romo is planning to be ready for Week 1 when the Cowboys host the NFC powerhouse San Francisco 49ers. The Niners are currently favored by 4-points.
