I’m looking to go 3-for-3 this week on this article's NHL parlay picks after a pair of +240 winners. It’s a great set of games tonight, as the Canes are going to shoot and points are coming in Denver.

I've cooked up another modest two-game parlay here, but bettors don’t always need to look for +8,000s when building parlays out.

Here are my best NHL picks bet for Saturday, May 11, with odds courtesy of bet365 — plus SGP picks for each of tonight's games!

NHL playoffs parlay picks May 11

  • Andrei Svechnikov o2.5 SOG
  • Valeri Nichuskin o0.5 pts
  • COL/DAL both teams to score 2+ goals
    (+210 at bet365)

NHL parlay pick

Andrei Svechnikov Over 2.5 shots on goal

Val Nichuskin Over 0.5 points

DAL/COL Both teams to score 2+ goals

Andrei Svechnikov Over 2.5 shots on goal

The first leg is a simple one, and that’s getting the Hurricanes’ most-frequent shooter at Over 2.5 SOG, which is a very reasonable -160. His 21.05 SAT/60 leads the team in the playoffs, and he's getting roughly 50% of those attempts on net.

Andrei Svechnikov has hit the six-shot mark three times over four home postseason games. The Canes have their season on the line and will be leaning heavily on this top line. Carolina is also shooting more in the playoffs, which is impressive as its shot attempts per game during the regular season paced the league by a substantial amount.

I also wouldn’t say no to putting Svechniko, Jake Guentzel, and Sebastian Aho all Over 2.5 SOG at +300. If Carolina does hit 35 shots tonight, I will be very surprised.

DAL/COL Both teams to score 2+ goals

Both teams have hit the three-goal mark in each of the games in the series, and the Colorado offense is a bigger beast at home, where it was the No.1 offense in hockey.

The Stars have had no issues beating Alex Georgiev, who has posted a .868 save percentage in the series. Dallas has shown they can let the Colorado offense claw back into games despite big leads, and if the Stars do find themselves playing from behind tonight, they have enough scoring depth to do the same to the Avalanche

Both teams to score three goals is in play tonight at +155 or better, but I'm expecting this, and likely the early game, to each hit the both teams to score 2+ goals which is paying +139 for the 2-leg ticket.

Valeri Nichushkin Over 0.5 points

Nobody has scored more goals in the playoffs than Colorado winger Valeri Nichushkin, who has potted in each of the Avs’ seven postseason matches. His AGS prop has fallen from +180 to +125, and he is a great complement for the top line, where Nathan MacKinnon posted 93 points in 43 home games on the season.

Putting the top line together for a point tonight is -110, which isn’t a price I’d jump out to get, but it does show the probability of what this No.1 line for the Avs is going to do tonight in a game with a total of 6.5.

If Val keeps scoring at this rate and Colorado can win the Cup, he is a good look for Conn Smythe odds, currently 50 to 1.

Today's NHL same-game parlay picks

Our betting experts have scoured through today's NHL odds to find your best SGP bets for each game on Saturday's playoff slate:

Rangers vs Hurricanes same-game parlay (SGP)

Artemi Panarin Over 1.5 points

Chris Kreider Over 2.5 shots

Hurricanes Under 3.5 team total

Along with a multi-point game for Panarin, I’ll take Chris Kreider to notch Over 2.5 shots. Kreider is averaging 2.43 shots per game this postseason after posting exactly three shots per game in the regular season.

Lastly, I’ll take the Hurricanes to finish the game Under 3.5 goals. Carolina has scored three goals or fewer in all three contests so far this series while only surpassing that total in two of its eight games this postseason.

Stars vs Avalanche same-game parlay (SGP)

Over 6.5 goals

Nathan MacKinnon anytime goal

Joe Pavelski anytime goal

Is there ever a bad time to roll a Nathan MacKinnon goal-scoring prop into your SGP?

He’s currently in a tie for sixth in playoff scoring, just two points out of the top spot with three goals and eight assists.

Colorado’s Game 2 loss was the first time in seven postseason games that MacKinnon has been held off the scoresheet. He hasn’t been scoreless in back-to-back games since February 8 and 10, and the bounceback should be coming. MacKinnon has scored at least one goal in four of the Avalanche's last five home games against the Stars.

Dallas’ ultra-varied offense looked stunted against Vegas, but it’s starting to show itself in Round 2. All seven of the Stars’ goals have been scored by seven different players, and three of them put up their first goals of the playoffs. There’s another player that should be cracking that list soon.

Dallas had nine players with at least 52 points scored in the regular season, and only one — veteran Joe Pavelski, has yet to light the lamp in the postseason.

The second-leading scorer on the Stars, Pavelski has just a single assist through nine playoff games. He can’t stay silent against the Avs — especially not with his recent body of work against them.

In his last 12 regular season games against Colorado, Pavelski has tallied at least a point in nine of them, putting up nine goals and 14 points.
