Golden Nugget's 'Games of the Year': What's the spread for Notre Dame-Michigan?

The Golden Nugget sportsbook in Las Vegas will release its annual college football “Games of the Year” this Friday and Covers will have the full list of games and odds.

In anticipation of their release, we’ll be reviewing some of the marquee matchups on the 2013 schedule and asking you, the Covers Community, to predict the spread before the Golden Nugget's oddsmakers Tony Miller and Aaron Kessler have the ultimate say.

So, what’s the spread?

Notre Dame Fighting Irish at Michigan Wolverines – Sept. 7

Oddsmaker’s take: “Notre Dame has a lot back on that stout defense and Michigan is missing a lot with (Denard) Robinson gone,” Kessler told Covers. “I have Michigan down a bit this season, when I’m usually very high on them, but (Notre Dame QB Everett) Golson missing is big.”

2012 records: Notre Dame (12-1 SU, 7-6 ATS, 3-10 O/U), Michigan (8-5 SU, 6-7 ATS, 7-6 O/U)

Returning starters: Notre Dame 14 (6 offense, 8 defense), Michigan 12 (6 offense, 6 defense)

Let us know what you think this game will open at. We will compare the Covers Community’s spreads with the Golden Nugget’s “Games of the Year” odds at the end of the week.

Check back Friday for the full list of the Golden Nugget’s college football “Games of the Year”.
