The Los Angeles Lakers may have lost more than their fourth game in five tries Sunday.
Center Dwight Howard aggravated the sprained rotator cuff in his right shoulder in the 112-105 loss to the Nuggets and will undergo an MRI Monday morning. With frustrations continuing to mount for the Lakers, Howard recently went on the record saying “we have to play like we like each other…even if we don’t want to be friends off the court.”
The Lakers have a back-to-back on Tuesday and Wednesday on the road against the Rockets, who have covered in 10 of their last 11 games and the Spurs. Los Angeles is 15-18 SU and is one of the worst bets in the Association with a 13-19-1 ATS record.
Howard originally injured his shoulder in the second half of the Lakers' 107-102 loss to the Clippers on Friday after getting twisted up with Caron Butler.
