Meanwhile, Iga Swiatek had to overcome a 4-1, third-set hole to sneak by Naomi Osaka as a massive -2,500 favorite. She's still the favorite to defend her title on clay ahead of Aryna Sabalenka.

Favorite to win the 2024 French Open Women's Championship

5/31/2024: We were two games away from seeing the Women's draw being blown wide open as Naomi Osaka had world No. 1 Iga Swiatek on the ropes. But, like she usually does, Swiatek found a way to win six of the next seven games to keep her title defense alive. Out of that, it's been a top-heavy draw with each of the top five seeds in line for a spot in the Round of 16.

How to bet on French Open odds

Tennis betting is most commonly done with moneyline odds for a match. Each player is assigned a moneyline price and bettors can wager on which one they think will win. Sportsbooks also offer futures odds for each tournament, where you can bet on which player will win that specific tournament.

Tennis futures odds usually look like this:

  • Player A +600

This means that on a $100 bet, you'll stand to win $600 if Player A wins the tournament. If it's close to the end of a tournament or one player has been particularly dominant, you might see someone with a minus sign (-) ahead of their odds:

  • Player B -120

This means that you would need to wager $120 to win $100 on Player B winning the tournament.

Above we have posted the American odds for the French Open. However, these are easy to convert to decimal odds or fractional odds with our odds converter tool.
