Norway vs Ivory Coast pick: Norway

Kalshi win probability: 48%

Norway's approach is unlikely to change from their first two matches: relying on attacking quality and physicality to overwhelm opponents. Fortunately for Solbakken, he has no shortage of match-winners at his disposal.

Erling Haaland, Martin Odegaard, and Antonio Nusa possess the quality to trouble any defense in world football, especially an Ivory Coast side that looked overwhelmed against Germany. Norway have too many options up front, and their sustained pressure will eventually break through.

France vs Sweden pick: France

Kalshi win probability: 79%

For all the French flair in the final third, it’s their midfield edge that should spark a comfortable win at MetLife Stadium, where Didier Deschamps’ men took down Senegal during the group stage.

Sweden may pair the inexperienced duo of Lucas Bergvall and Yasin Ayari to protect their back four, and that’s unlikely to stem the flow of France's attacks.

Look for France to dominate possession, forcing Sweden’s 3-4-3 setup to shift into a back five, and all of Les Bleus’ front four are capable of exposing the defensive flaws we saw in the Swedes’ 5-1 loss to the Netherlands in Group F.

Mexico vs Ecuador pick: Ecuador

Kalshi win probability: 25%

Ecuador's strength is in defense, with experience and talent in abundance. The back four features two players who played in this season's Champions League Final, and midfielder Moises Caicedo can screen them and stop Mexico creating chances for their front three.

Mexico have an incredible record in competitive games at the Azteca, but Ecuador is also used to playing at altitude. That really evens the playing field, and with kickoff late in the day, the temperatures are also unlikely to be an issue.

That bodes well for Ecuador’s press, and they can pressure a Mexico team that have been flattered by their opposition so far.
