2006 (Golf): In the final year of the tournament, Tiger Woods wins the Doral Open for the second straight year after shooting a 3-under 69 to win by 2 strokes over David Toms and Camilo Villegas. Woods went wire-to-wire as he entered as the favorite at +300 to win the tournament. It was the 48th PGA Tour victory of Woods' career.
2022 (College Basketball): Legendary Duke Men's Basketball head coach Mike Krzyzewski coaches for the final time at Cameron Indoor Stadium but North Carolina beats the 4th ranked Blue Devils 94-81. The Tar Heels were an 11-point underdog and around +500 on the money line as four of their starters scored 20+ points and were led by Junior forward Armando Bacot with 23 points. Krzyzewski coached the Blue Devils for 42 seasons and led them to five National Championships.
