Arizona State freshman quarterback Jayden Daniels set season highs with 363 passing yards and three touchdowns and scored on a 17-yard scramble with 34 seconds remaining to lead the No. 18 Sun Devils to a 38-34 Pac-12 victory over Washington State on Saturday in Tempe, Ariz.

Sun Devils wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk had career highs with 196 yards receiving and three scores, and halfback Eno Benjamin rushed for season-high 137 yards and a touchdown for the Sun Devils (5-1, 2-1 Pac-12).

In the Sun Devils' 75-yard game-winning drive, Benjamin had four receptions for 30 yards and a 5-yard run on fourth-and-2 with 61 seconds remaining. Daniels completed a season-high 26 passes in 36 attempts without an interception.

Washington State quarterback Anthony Gordon passed for 466 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receiver Easop Winston caught a career-high 14 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown for the Cougars (3-3, 0-3 Pac-12), who have lost three in a row after reaching No. 19 in the AP poll.

Gordon was pressured and threw a wobbly pass when the Cougars looked to attempt a Hail Mary from the ASU 43 with four seconds remaining. Gordon, who completed a season-high 44 passes in 64 attempts, led the FBS in passing yards per game (429.2) entering the game.

Washington State's Blake Mazza made a 31-yard field goal with 2:30 remaining for a 34-31 lead, after a miss from that distance was negated because the Cougars called timeout just before the kick.

Arizona State has scored at least 10 points in 125 consecutive games, tying Louisiana Tech (2008-18) for the longest streak in the FBS era. The Sun Devils are at Utah next Saturday.

Arizona State had 532 yards total offense, and each of its five touchdown drives scoring drives were 73 yards or longer. Washington State had five scoring drives of at least 66 yards, including second-half touchdown drives of 91 and 92 yards.

Washington State wide receivers Dezmon Patmon and Travell Harris also had touchdown receptions.

Neither team led by more than 10 points, and there were three ties.
