Not much changed at the top of the English Premier League last week – but there will be at least one table shake-up in the first post-Christmas matchweek. Leicester host Man United on Saturday in a game that could see one of these teams slip out of the Top 6 completely.
Elsewhere, Liverpool continue to reside atop the standings and are current EPL betting favorites to repeat as league champs.

Premier League Predictions for Matchday 15
Leicester vs Manchester United
Premier League bettors and fans will be treated to a marquee showdown the day after Christmas with the second and third-place clubs dueling at King Power Stadium. Leicester (+175) have rebounded nicely from a stretch of three losses in four games, earning wins in three of their past four (including an impressive 2-0 victory over now-sixth-place Tottenham last time out).
Leicester's recent form is commendable, but Saturday represents a major step up in competition against a Man United team (+140) that has earned 19 out of 21 points over its past seven league matches and is coming off a 6-2 dismantling of Leeds. This game is nearly a toss-up in the eyes of oddsmakers, but we're siding with a Man United team that has scored 3+ goals in five of its last seven EPL matches.

Manchester City vs Newcastle
It's never a good time to face one of the top rosters in European domestic soccer – but the timing is especially bad for Newcastle, who face a daunting trip to Etihad Stadium on Saturday. Manchester City (-900) appear to be finding their footing after a bit of a slow start to the 2020-21 season, with just one loss across all competitions since Sept. 27.
Counter that with a Newcastle side (+1,600) that was trounced 5-2 by Leeds, settled for a 1-1 home draw with 10-man Fulham and was stunned 1-0 by Brentford in the Carabao Cup, and you have two teams headed in completely opposite directions. Manchester City still has some work to do to reach the Premier League pinnacle – and this week, they'll make inroads in dominant fashion.

Leeds vs Burnley
Two teams that couldn't be more different square off Sunday at Elland Road when Leeds United host Burnley. Leeds (-150) and Burnley (+300) are just four points apart in the overall standings, but have taken divergent paths to get here: the hosts have seen a whopping 54 goals scored in their 14 matches to date, while Burnley's 27 total goals in 13 matches are the fewest in the league.
We see this one ending up somewhere in the middle, but that doesn't mean we're shying away from Leeds goal scorers. While Leeds have floundered of late and Burnley's back end has improved dramatically, the hosts should create plenty of scoring opportunities – and we like Patrick Bamford (team-leading nine goals) to strike regardless of how this game turns out.
