Man United enjoys traveling to play Fulham. Their form has been inconsistent over the past few seasons, but not when Fulham away was on offer.
Manchester United have won their last eight away matches against Fulham in all competitions.
On Sunday, United's attack should be fueled by the presence of star-signing Benjamin Sesko in the starting lineup. Transferred from RB Leipzig for €77 million, the Slovenian striker is expected to add the cutting edge the team has lacked in recent years.
There have been under 2.5 goals scored in six of Manchester United's last seven Premier League outings, but I expect an upgrade on numbers. Even if chemistry with Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha is still developing, the trio has the potential to lift United’s attacking numbers significantly.
Fulham arrive after a late equalizer earned them a 1-1 draw at Brighton, but the performance left plenty of concerns. They looked vulnerable at the back and created little going forward, depending more on spirit than structure.
Against a United side with superior individual quality, the fragility they showed could prove costly.
United's recent winning tradition in this fixture, combined with their attacking upgrades, makes them favorites to win. Fulham will look to frustrate their opponents, but the balance of quality points to the visitors.
