There are just six games on today’s NBA slate, but still plenty of star power on the court, including the likes of Kevin Durant and Steph Curry.

I’ll dish out props on both players as part of my NBA picks for Saturday, November 1.

Best NBA player props today

Player Pick bet365
Rockets Kevin Durant Over 30.5 points + rebounds -120
Magic Franz Wagner Over 21.5 points -120
Warriors Stephen Curry  Under 4.5 made threes -120

Prop #1: Kevin Durant Over 30.5 points + rebounds

-120 at bet365

It would be difficult to imagine a much better start to Kevin Durant’s tenure with the Houston Rockets. The 18-year vet is averaging 27.5 ppg through his first four outings and has helped the Rockets lead the NBA in scoring (127.8 ppg).

KD is fresh off a 31-point performance against the Raptors – his second 30+ point game of the season and the third time he’s notched Over 30.5 points and rebounds.

Not only has Durant been efficient from the field, shooting over 52%, but he’s also getting to the charity stripe nearly 10 times per game. It’s obviously early in the season but that’s currently his highest rate since 2013-14.

The Boston Celtics play tough defense but if KD stays aggressive, he should draw some fouls and rack up another productive game.

Prop #2: Franz Wagner Over 21.5 points

The Orlando Magic come into Saturday as a massive -370 favorite against the Washington Wizards and it makes sense once you dig into the hosts’ defensive numbers.

Washington is giving up 129 points and 95 field goal attempts per game – both the worst marks in the NBA.

Franz Wagner is one of many Magic players that should be able to take advantage of a weak Wizards defense tonight, and his line is set a modest 21.5 points.

The forward has scored Over 21.5 points in four of six games this season. He’s also shooting 44% from three-point range, which should help him rack up some quick points tonight.

Prop #3: Stephen Curry Under 4.5 made threes

-120 at bet365

The Golden State Warriors are the biggest favorite on today’s NBA slate but the oddsmakers might be getting carried away with some of these lines.

Steph Curry has made Over 4.5 threes just twice in six games this season, and while the Indiana Pacers are off to a brutal 0-5 start, they are actually one of the best teams in the NBA at limiting damage from long range.

The Pacers are allowing 10 threes per game while opponents are shooting just 31.1% from beyond the arc vs. Indiana – both the second-best defensive marks in the league.

Curry and the Warriors will likely put up some big numbers tonight but most of their work should come in the paint, where the Pacers are allowing 58 ppg.
